Finding Safe Haven

"It is good to see you again, Honored One."

As the sand-skims sailed across the sandy dunes, Hassan bowed low to Ryker once more. It had taken a few hours to board everyone from the camp and load what food supplies they could onto the sand-skim fleet, but they were finally setting off.

"Likewise, Hassan," Ryker said, returning the gesture. The wind blew through his hair as they sailed, but this time around he didn't have to squint or shield his eyes from the sand. The Golden Core realm sure was convenient.

Hassan only saw Ryker's serene expression as he looked out into the horizon, though, exuding an even more ethereal aura than last they met. The immortals truly had mysterious ways.

'Indeed, how can we mere mortals compare to such mystical beings?' he thought with awe.

It should be made clear that this was only due to Ryker not being bothered by the excessive sand, however.
