A Date

Qi Bai's heart thumped in his chest. He stared at his lover before walking closer. His face finally showed traces of embarrassment as he scratched the back of his neck. "You didn't have to do this…."

Yu Weimin's long hair was untied at the time, allowing it to fall freely on his shoulders. A gust of wind passed through them as his hair moved, coming all over his face.

Qi Bai's hand automatically reached out and put the strands behind his ears. Even then, his hands lingered there for a moment, gently playing with the earlobe.

"Thank you."

Yu Weimin huffed. "Thank you? What are we, strangers?"

"Still…." Qi Bai's eyes softened. "I needed to say it."

"Now, let's eat something. I planned dinner."

"Now?" Qi Bai's eyes were filled with amusement. "The sun's still up."

"Or do you prefer we do this at night with the guards patrolling? Hmm?" Yu Weimin dragged the guy over and pushed him onto the chair, unlike the gentleman he looked like. "Sit back and enjoy."
