Acting Separately

Liu Yang didn't know that a certain someone had used up the opportunity and stolen a sip of sweetness from him. He opened his eyes the next morning to find the room empty. He frowned and quickly used a spell to freshen up before going out.

Soon, he found his target quietly sitting on the dining table, sipping the cup of tea silently. The edge of the cup disappeared into the misty face as the man gulped it in his mouth.

For a moment, Liu Yang could feel a scene from years ago overlapping with the current one. Back then, his disciple had also been fond of sitting on the table in a similar manner and sipping it one after another, carefully swirling the liquid around his tongue and gulping it down his throat.

This particular scene, as now, was so similar that Liu Yang even wondered if he was imagining things. Then he shook his head, waving away his thoughts.

He smiled as he walked toward the man sitting on the table. He raised his hand and asked the waiter to bring him the tea.
