Arren's Adventures (4)

Arren thought at one point that it was better to leave this place as soon as possible, lest they be implicated more than necessary. However, after hearing her reason, he realized as well that instead of finding anyone and wandering aimlessly on the street, he could just seek her help on this.

After all, someone who could help him was already in front of him; why would Arren find another? There was still urgency within him, and as much as possible, he wanted to hurry up.

Arren wanted to escape this place, and even more so, he wanted to meet Spade. After the memories had returned to him, he didn't even have enough time to process them before he was forced to set them aside for the time being.

He then contemplated whether to reveal his identity, but Auntie Mildred had beat him to it.

"Of course, wait here; I'll take my phone." She stood up and entered the house, leaving Arren confused, even though he was technically the one who borrowed her phone.
