"We're outside, there aren't any doors here," Leslie very wisely observed, "And besides, we fell from the sky. Shouldn't we be looking up there?"

There were no doors in the sky. Atticus already checked. It was all just blue pre-sunrise atmosphere without any sort of magical, hovering, golden door in sight.

"Last time, the door was in a painting," He said, "We need to consider all methods of disguise. Bentley, you know Pomegranate Hill better than I do--"

She was staring at her siblings again.

"Am I going to have to slap you awake?" Atticus asked, his eyes flashing gold.

"Sorry. You'd be distracted too if one of your deceased loved ones was standing right in front of you," She said.

Atticus let out another sigh.
