Uriah was still pressed against the ground in the midst of his tangle with Xander, but that hadn't stopped him from witnessing everything that had happened. Struggling beneath his opponent's grip, he managed to shout a few words to his followers.
"It's her! That human is the one who can control the souls!"
Although that certainly seemed to be the case, Atticus couldn't allow anyone near his human companion. Although the souls HAD obeyed her singular command, he felt that there was no way she could have been the one who summoned them or told them to attack. She had absolutely no experience in the squabbles of Heaven and Hell and was already as impartial as Frances. This was either an anomaly or a coincidence which needed further investigation. However, the choir of angels didn't know Hazel the way Atticus did, and had only witnessed the mindless hoards of overwhelming and unpredictable danger washing over them. Understandably, they wouldn't be so patient in finding out the truth.
