God's Gone AWOL

It was as if the apocalypse had begun. With the deafening sound of ten thousand tons of liquid rock hurling itself into the sky, the entire world was reduced to nothing but a sea of black and red. Towers of smoke reached upwards like desperate hands stretching for the heavens, and the glittering orange rain of a billion sparks of magma rained down over their heads. This caused several angels to scream and many to raise up protective shields. The earth had been turned inside out, and the horrors inside had been released, all with the simple wave of a hand. 


And if one massive-scale eruption wasn't enough, more explosions were breaking through the crust. One after another, all the nearby volcanoes following the ring of fire blasted upwards, filling the atmosphere to the brim with solid black clouds of ash.
