[8] Ophaniel's Regret

Ophaniel pursed his lips, calculating in silence. Slowly, he shifted his gaze back to the spiraling cosmos, casting his pale face in darkness. Atticus waited, wondering whether he would get an answer or not until finally, his fellow angel took a deep breath.

"You were supposed to be my pride and joy," He said quietly. "However, I made a mistake when I created you,"

Atticus felt a familiar heavy sensation in his heart, but he didn't say a single word.

"When I decided I wanted to split my power and create a new angel, I felt as though I was destined to bring something great into the world. This was long before I was appointed as guardian of the moon. Back then, I was very young and very naïve. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
