Madison couldn’t believe her, she was openly flirting with her husband in front of her, and even thou she shouldn’t have cared, she did.
“Of course”
he finally gave her his arm to her horror and together they went to the dance floor where the both swayed sensually with the music while leaving her there with their grandparents, what an irony she thought.
She chatted happily with them for a while before she started feeling nausea. She had already gotten accompanied with the feeling, as it often came when she didn’t eat anything and tonight she didn’t have anything to eat before she left the house.
She was able to deal with the feeling better at home because she was always seated in her room where she could lay on her bed and rest. But right now, she was surrounded by guests and people she didn’t know. She started to feel suffocated as she glanced around looking for Robert but she couldn’t find him anywhere, so she left the ball room and went outside to toward the carriage.
