Jealousy

A few hours had passed since i had the encounter with Kayla.

After i had shut the door to her apartment behind me, i ran across the road and hid behind a dumpster waiting for the police to come get her.

After hiding for at least 15 minutes, i heard the sound of sirens from afar. As seconds went by, the sound got louder. On reaching the apartment the police kicked the door open to see Kayla lying on the floor unconscious. They picked her up putting her into the vehicle and drove off.

I had called a ride to come get me when my phone buzzed. I pulled out my phone from the pocket to check what made it do so. It was Marty.

I began reading the text.

'Heard you went rogue...boss wants to see you'

I was reading through the texts when my ride arrived. I jumped in as quickly as i could and the driver drove off.

I directed the driver to take me to the hospital where they had taken Kayla for treatment and saw Liam standing in front of the receptionist's counter.

After what seemed to have been a brief conversation between them, he started walking towards a hallway and went into a room.

As i followed behind him trying not to get caught, i saw a closet full of nurses dresses and walked in, closed the door and began putting on one which was my size. It took a little time trying to put one on but i did. I looked through the window blinds and Liam was standing beside Kayla having a chat.

I started feeling jealousy. I didn't like the way they were close and how they were now always seeing each other. I hated how that made me feel. So i pushed the door open and quickly pulled out a gun from the dress that i had with me since.

“DON’T MOVE”

They both just stayed still as statues.

"OH YOU BOTH ARE DEAD NOW".
