"W-what are you saying, Sir? " Clara fumbled. Her face turned pale at his revelation, but she still tried to act clueless.

Vincent cocked his brow at her dumbness and chuckled. The way her palm gripped the cup was evidence that she was utterly scared.

Keeping his eyes fixated on her, Vincent approached her.

"Let me see you properly," He said leveling himself to her level and observed her face intently.

"Hmm... Maybe I am wrong. I don't think it's you. Sorry, I was mistaken" Vincent switched his expression into a defeated one and straightened up.

Clara had her breath stuck in her throat and gulped in fear.
