"Okay, it means I am not disturbing you" Clara gaped at his casualness, however, she didn't voice her inner thoughts.

All she wanted was to escape this man for some time and when she was finally getting to it, he unexpectedly called.

Clara pursed her lips into a thin line and masked her disappointment before diving right to the point.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Boss?" Clara asked out of courtesy. It was unusual for Adrian to call her, so she thought maybe he wanted something from her which is why he personally contacted her. However, the moment he opened his mouth to speak, something about his words warned her.

"Yes, there is something I want you to do?" Adrian said maintaining the same calmness in his tone.

"W-what is it?" she asked suddenly getting anxious by his words.
