A Plan to Escape (1)

The food that Elaine prepared for her was more than enough. But the faerie worried that it wasn't to her taste and recommended a few more foods that she heard tasted delicious in the land of mortals. Every now and then, whenever she saw Talia picking up food and finishing it, she would add it to the list of food she might have to prepare the next time she was asked to serve her master's mate food again.

Talia didn't take anymore than a plate of food and a glass of milk. She did touch some of the fruits, but thinking that it would hinder her escape if she had too much food in her stomach resulting in her having trouble running faster, she deemed it would be better to not eat too much. However, the scent of the variety of food wafting into her nose had been the greatest challenge she faced.
