Floating Feather Knighthood

Noah's run wasn't random, his destination was the place he didn't agree with in the first place. Floating Feather Knighthood school. He might feel like rejecting everything the Portable Tower suggested but he knew it was right at some point.

'Even though I don't know why I need to be here. I should take a bet this is a little better than the rest!'

"Welcome to Floating Feather Knight School." A guard in… armour made of wood said. "Are you here to join?"

"..."

Noah just stared at the man and then looked at the school. It was mundane.

[I'm 100% sure the owner of this school has nothing to do with the Shifting Steel attack which I can't say for other Knighthood]

Knowing that was more than enough to convince Noah and he said, "Yes!"

He was then asked to go to an office to register. He met a middle-aged woman there who asked for his name, and address and at the same time another woman made him strip naked and his height and weight were measured.

"My name is Noah Ark, I'm from Eastern Plains, I don't know what happened to my family and I'm 13 years old!" Noah explained. And that was the truth.

His family were the aristocracy and they have a base in the Eastern Plain which was a place on the Main Continent that serve as a replica of what was in Drawing Petals.

She documented everything and then he was guided elsewhere, behind the main building. That was when he was taken to a windowless room with a crystal pool inside. He was asked to sit at the centre naked as the pool streamed from left to right slowly.

The water was cold at first but his body began to heat up until he began to sweat and heat radiated from his navel to his brain.

[Have you been in one of these!]

"Yes. When I was a newborn child!" Seth mumbled without making sound

[You can't remember that time. But you are right, it was the custom of Shifting Steel]

"Which one is better?" Noah asked.

[This one]

"Hmm!"

[The wealth from this Class 5 Knighthood was one-third of the whole wealth the Shifting Steel has. That was excluding Iconic Items that aren't for sale]

Noah wanted to retort but he never knew how these things works. Not to mention, he had heard his brothers and uncle talk about available resources in the main continent.

"Can't you see, they have armour made of Wood! That low"

[Shifting Steel use leaves in building Town Wall]

"That is different, Draining Leaves are used to absorb impact and tremor and that made the wall strong. Some walls stood for 1000 years or more!"

[Oak wood use in armour making is a privilege, as the wood will conform and become in tune with you as you grow as a knight. And it detoxifies the body]

Noah was silent. Pondering all that and he nodded.

[You may not like this School because it looks backwards. However, Oakwood in another town is expensive and high in demand but here, this town is called Oak Town. You can already understand what that means]

Noah nodded no longer feeling bad for joining the school and kinda liked it for the oak armour. The reason was, the only thing apart from the sword and beast that killed knights were toxins.

Shifting Steel revolved around the use of muscles to its finesse but a slight toxin, venom, o poison may hinder normal blood flow and cause swelling in some muscles and which cause great damage to the Trainee and Squire of Shifting Steel.

The requirements and level of training one have to go as a trainee in Shifting Steel were so demanding that 91% of kids quit. And yes, you can't start training as an adult.

"So, my family can afford it!"

[Well, they could. I'm sure that if you have reached 15, they will send you to Eastern Plains and then the oak armour will be provided for you.]

There was silence for a long time before the tower spoke again.

[You need to be patient. Your GOALs will take years before fruition. First, you need to consolidate your identity on this Main Continent. Second, you need to be a promising Floating Feather Knight that follows its codes. Third, you need to build a squire that will do your normal duties while you are out there gathering the items. Fourth, you need to have an impact on the society you're gonna live in, which will help in gaining friends and honourable enemies. Fifth, which I recommended was to build yourself as the central figure in Eastern Plain, to solidify your origin]

Noah just pretended to be asleep. That was a lot taken in for his 13-year brain. All Noah can think of was him hiding in Feather and planning how to embark on a journey to retrieve his items.

[There is something called Rogue Knights. They are knights that are usually remnants of fallen Knighthoods or Exiles. They can either be Evil or Neutral. You are a Rogue Knight and guess what, Rogue knights, evil or not, are not welcomed anywhere in an established Knighthood territory…]

Portable Tower was connected to Noah's psyche to why it can speak directly to his mind. It also knew Noah wasn't sleeping at all.

It can also infer what the kid was thinking through his emotions and reaction to information. It truly knew Noah was a genius when it come to cognitive ability but was also just a child with no experience dealing with different dangers and also very impulsive and cocky because of his strength.

The Potable Tower has been passed around from one genius to another for more than 5 centuries but it has never met someone as talented as Noah. At the same time, Noah was the most unstable among them.

The boy was always on edge about doing something stupid or thinking of doing stupid things. That was why it was filling the boy with reasons not to act rashly, till it tie him down. So, it continues to explain the Main Continent situation.

It was already known that a Trainee can fight and beat up an average man in the street. So, also, a bare-handed Squire can beat up ten or more average humans in the street.

A Squire was a superhuman in society. They can raid villages and kill most men with ease. All of these, aren't called rogue even if they left Knighthood or their knighthood was destroyed and they became alone.

However, Masters were prohibited from becoming Knighoodless. Because they were incredibly dangerous humans that can bring down towns and even cities. Not because they create explosions but because they have superior strength, fighting technique, stamina and durability.

Noah killed more than fifty people in just 3 minutes when he came out from a cabinet. 5 of them were knights and the rest were squires.

If any knight did that, the other knighthood will take their Knighthood accountable but if a rogue knight did that, who will they hold accountable?
