MEGAN'S POV

At this moment Ale and I were leaving through the back door to go to the place where the employees slept. We hid a couple of times to avoid being seen by Dad's guards and it didn't take us long to reach Adriano's room. We already entered without problem and the first thing he does as soon as we enter the room is point a gun at us, but Ale and I didn't take long to take one out and point it at him.

"You should know it's wrong to point a gun at your boss's daughters." I said pointing between his eyebrows. "Miss D'angelo, what are you doing here?" The guy lowered the gun and after a few seconds, we both did the same. "And you say he's good at what he does?" I said without seeing what Ale saw as good in him.

"Just because he's an asshole doesn't mean he's good at what he does." She said putting the weapon in the thigh pistol holder, me doing the same after a few seconds later. "I hope so, because I assure you, I don't want to end up doing the dirty work of two people."

You could see some fear on Adriano's face, which was understandable, because right now not a single emotion could be seen on our faces, which was what made a lot of people panic at us.

"That will all depend on Adriano. Get up, we have to go." Quickly, he got out of bed and began looking for his clothes in the room. "As you order." At least he seemed to do what he was told, something half good he had. "In less than five minutes I want you with the car in the usual place."

With that, we left the room and as soon as the house, I couldn't help but laugh. I know this is a way for Ale to protect herself, but the face Adriano had in that moment was very funny and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Are you going to stop laughing? The guards will hear you and if you want to find out what is going on, you better stop doing it." I tried to stop laughing, and after almost a minute, I managed to. "Okay, okay, sorry. Do you think Adriano will arrive in less than five minutes? She nodded, and I could see she was pretty sure he was going to do it.

"Obviously he'll be here in less than five minutes, he better." A smile appeared on my face, because I couldn't help but be proud of what Ale had achieved in a short time, especially if we take into account that until a couple of years ago, she couldn't even be close to a man, and now she was doing what she liked with them.

"You've got him scared." I could see how she rolled her eyes, but it was the truth, that boy was scared of my sister, which was no wonder, when she wanted to I even had it myself and I've known her practically all my life and I know she wouldn't hurt me.

"If we want their respect, we have to scare them, it is the price we have to pay for being women." She said and I nodded, because apparently in the world of mafias, that was how things used to be. If you were a woman, you were good for nothing except for sex or cleaning the house.

Just at that moment a car appears in front of us and Adriano quickly gets out to open the door for us. We get in the car and we don't speak for about fifteen minutes, which is when the car stops in an open space with a kind of warehouse where I suppose the guy is. We walk into the warehouse and all you can see is a guy with his hands tied behind his back and sitting on a chair.

"Well, you have to guess why you're here Lucas." Ale said rubbing her hands and completely relaxed. "I don't know anything miss, as I told your whatever it is I don't know anything." The man seemed to be afraid, but deep down something told me all this was a simple facade and that he was trying to deceive us, which wasn't going to be possible, even less with Ale present.

"My sources say otherwise, so…" She began to circle around him and he hardly took his eyes off her. "Your sources are wrong." He said trying to sound sincere, but I wasn't convinced, and even less by Ale's face.

"My sources aren't wrong, they better not be wrong because it won't end well for them" She stopped in front of him, looking directly into his eyes "You better tell her what you want to know, because otherwise this won't be pretty to see, at least for you." I said with a smile. "Either of you will get your hands dirty, that's why you bring the lackey."

And there he had brought out his true colours. Maybe he knew or he didn't care, but this guy thought of himself more than he was. "Do you really think I need a flunkey to do anything?" Ale said practically sticking her face to the guy's. "Of course, that's how your father, the Titano di Ferro."

This guy surprised me, first he pretended to be scared and he doesn't know anything about and now he is being cocky, but that was going badly for him, we knew how to defend ourselves without the need for lackeys as he called them, but what surprised me the most was that he knew we were the daughters of Titano di Ferro, I didn't feel good that he knew.

"We are not one of those." I said, because it was the truest thing I could say. We are not at all like he was seeing us and practically everyone knew that. "Oh, now little Megan has to come out to defend you." He laughed and I could see how Alexandra's anger increased with each stupid thing he said, but clearly, only I could see that.

"I don't need Megan to defend me." She said what could be confused with tranquillity. "That I can assure you." I leaned against the wall and crossed my arms looking in his direction. "I remember the little Alexandra who cried whenever they gave her some pleasure. You were an irritating girl and you have become a woman everyone fears except me, because I know how you really are." He said, and those words were the ones that made me tense up, because this was not looking good for me.

"And what am I supposed to be like?" she asked, but I could hear something like satisfaction in Ale's voice, which was something didn't quite fit me at the moment. "A person who is afraid of everything, who has to hide behind her father's skirts. The one who cries for everything that happens to her and resents everyone for how much fun we gave you when you were with Dimitri. Come on, I can't believe you've forgotten all the pleasure I've given you."

Ale's eyes changed to ones of recognition, and if it didn't already look good before, now even less because then, that meant only one thing... "You're the one who didn't speak..." she said confidently and without her voice shaking nothing.

"I thought you'd forgotten about me." Now that Alexandra seemed perfectly calm, it was me who was getting angry, because this guy had been one of the hundreds of guys who had put a hand on my sister, and that was something I would never forgive. If it weren't for the fact that Ale would prevent me from killing him right now, I would have already made him suffer.

"You know where they are." He nodded, and this seemed easier than it seemed at first, which was not the best, because who knows what price this guy wanted now. He would never enjoy it, because he would end dead. "Oh, sure I know dear, but that information comes at a price."

"And what would be the fair price?" Ale asked crossing her arms. "You have to have sex with me one more time." I could see the chill Ale had and I know she wouldn't even do that. Apparently, that piece of shit was one of the guys who had raped her while we were in that hell, but I'm surprised when I see her approach that guy.

"I try, but first you give me the information and you will be tied up." Ale said "I like the part about being tied up, but I'm not going to give you the information before you sleep with me, I know the reputation you have on the street right now."

She got closer and sat on his lap making the man devour her with his eyes, he was practically undressing her and I don't want this to happen, not in front of my eyes, because I know she doesn't want it, she can't want it.

"Ale, no…" I started to approach her to get her out of here, because I was not going to allow this guy to put his hands on my sister. Not after everything she went through to protect me in there. "Adriano, get her out of here." Ale said without turning in our direction. "But miss..."

I could hear the insecurity in Adriano's voice, and even though I hated him, I liked him a little better at this moment for questioning leaving Alexandra alone with this degenerate.

"Take her out, I said." With that, Adriano begins to approach me to get me out of this room, but I wasn't going to allow it, I wasn't going to let Ale do it to get information we could get elsewhere.

"Don't even think about it, Adriano, because then I'm the one who kills you." I said menacingly, "I'm sorry Miss D'angelo, I'm just following orders."

With that, he grabbed my arms and led me out of the room, but we stayed outside of it. At this moment, I was angry because Ale was doing something stupid and I wasn't going to allow her to do it. And I was scared this was going to happen again. I don't know what they did to Ale in there, but what I'm sure of is she had a worse time than I did, and I'm not going to allow anyone or anything to hurt her, she's my sister and before they will have to step over my dead body to do the least amount of damage on her.

"Let me go or I swear I'll kill you right here." I said looking for something to hit him with and get into that room. "I'm sorry Miss D'angelo, but I can't do that." He said with panic in his eyes, which was great, because I would do it to get Alexandra out of there. "Of course, you can and you are going to let me do it, because I am not kidding when I tell you I will kill you."

At that moment we hear a scream and before this useless can stop me I enter the room to find Ale standing with a knife in her hand and bloody.

"This is for raping me years ago." She said, passing one of her fingers along the edge of the knife, I still don't know very well how, but without cutting herself. "You are a bitch like all the others. It's lucky you and the girl escaped from there, but I assure you they are looking for you, especially because they want the girl. Apparently one of them is his father, the others were made to use condoms."

When she said they were going for Alison, I could see how Ale's look filled with determination and anger. That's the last thing anyone could do, threaten Alison and her well-being. "You're a bastard, and now you're going straight to hell where everyone else is, thanks for the info anyway."

With that, she plunges the knife into his chest and twists it once inside him, killing him. I can see the tears in her eyes and she's holding them back. In all these years I hadn't seen Alexandra cry, at least not since we've been with Francesco and Analissa, but this asshole had to remind her of everything she already remembered by herself.

"Adriano... I want you to put this guy in a box with rocks and dump him in the middle of the Mediterranean." He nodded and left the warehouse. I didn't hesitate to follow her and when I find her, I see she's hyperventilating, so I go over and hug her, but she tries to get free, so I guess she's in some shady thought, it happens to us sometimes.

"Calm down... it's me... nothing will happen to you... that guy is dead..." We stayed like that for half an hour until she calmed down and separated from me. I could see that she was still bad, and even though I didn't want to make her sick, I wanted to know what was going on in there.

"Ale, what happened in there?" I asked delicately, because at times like this, it is when Alexandra reacted badly to everything that touched her or caused her insecurity. "Nothing that's any of your business."

"Of course, it is!!!!, just look at yourself and then tell me it's not." I got frustrated when Ale closed in on herself and didn't let her true feelings come to light. She had always done it, I suppose it was a way of protecting herself, but I also know that's why she is not recovering in the same way I am, at least partly because the other one because she had a worse time than me.

"It's my life Megan." She said trying to get me to drop the subject, but she wasn't going to, not seeing how what she had done with that guy and what he had said about Alison had left her. "Your life but you didn't have to do what you did to get the information."

"As I told you, my life. In case you're interested, it's Dad who's making a deal with the Russians to take them down, but the Russians are arming themselves and have more mafias to take down Dad, so Dad wants us away from here because there's a war coming." She said starting to walk towards the car.

"We have to tell dad." I saw how she denied, but I have no idea why. "Dad already knows. Now I'm going home." She said starting to walk into the car. Despite what she had said was something I didn't like and didn't quite understand, I followed her to the car and got into the passenger side.

All the way there was silence and I know Alexandra wasn't good. I wanted to help her get through the moment, but I'm more than clear she won't let me do it. She always does the same. As soon as we got home, Ale got out of the car with a slam and quickly went into the house, leaving me alone.

"Hands up or I'll shoot." Said one of the bodyguards who apparently hadn't recognized us, but right now it wasn't the best thing to do. Not with Alexandra as angry as she was right now.

"You would be very wrong to shoot me, but go ahead, do it, you won't last a blink." Ale said without turning around or reaching for the gun. "Miss D'angelo?"

I could hear the surprise in the boy's voice and he soon lowered his gun looking in our direction without understanding when we had left the house. "Bingo, now go do your fucking work and leave me alone because it's been a shitty night."

With that, she entered the house and it didn't take me long to follow her. When I entered the house, I found my father sitting on the sofa in the living room with a glass of wine in his hand. "I thought you didn't come with your sister."

I rolled my eyes, because it seemed obvious to him, we had left, but at this moment I wasn't there to listen to whatever he wanted to say, I had to make sure Ale was okay. "Yes, I did, now if you'll excuse me, I'm tired. I'm going to bed."

I turned to go looking for Alexandra when I hear how my father leaves the glass on the table, practically breaking it, I must say, and getting up from the chair. "You stay here until I tell you, you can leave."

He had never spoken to me like that. That was the tone he used in business or when he was making deals, and I don't like it at all when he used that tone with me. I am very grateful to him and to Analissa, but I will not let anyone talk to me like that.

"You're not going to tell me what to do, I'm not a little girl anymore." I said showing my anger in my voice. If I wanted to make it clear to him, it's that I didn't like being talked to like that, and I wasn't going to let him do it despite being my adoptive father.

"Megan, please. I just want to talk with you. I have seen your sister came in upset and locked herself in the room." Concern was in his voice, which calmed me down a bit. "She doesn't want to talk about it, so I have no idea what's wrong with her." I crossed my arms and turned to look at him.

"You were both in the same place, so you will know what happened to her." I made a face of indifference, because there was no way I was going to tell him where we had been, after all, I was kind of angry with him for wanting to get us out of here.

"Come on, don't make that face at me because I'm not stupid. I know everything you were doing this time." He said crossing her arms, but the truth isn't that I cared too much he knew what Alexandra and I had been doing all this time. "Really dad, I don't know what you're talking about."

"Well, if this is how it goes, well, let me tell you, I don't want this life for either of you. You are good girls and you should not interfere in this world." My anger rose a little more, because it could be Ale and I have had a bad time practically all our lives, and is why we are the people we are today. We're not exactly good because we murder people and we wanted to murder the Russian brothers.

"Well, it's too late, dad, because we're already in it." I said crossing my arms and putting on my indifferent face again even though I was angry. "Couldn't you wait at least a little longer?"

When he said that I took a deep breath so as not to explode here, because if we'd done this for six years, it was waiting to find those bastards and kill them.

"We are tired of waiting, dad, you don't understand all the shit we had to go through, especially Ale. She's already sick and with that I'm sure she'll turn the page." The sadness was evident in his eyes, because everyone in the house knew that, of the two of us, Ale was the worst and there were days when we practically couldn't get close to her simply because of what we had to go through inside of that fucking club.

"Will you ever tell us what happened in there?" I denied, because I wouldn't do it, it would come to my mind normally when I wanted to go to sleep, and I know Ale will never talk about what we went through in there. "If you talked to psychologists…"

"Psychologists are no better than them. They devour us with their eyes and if they don't do that, they give us advice they themselves don't follow, so no, we won't talk to anyone." I said turning around to start walking towards the stairs. "I'm sorry for everything you had to go through, you didn't deserve it." He said, even though he had no idea what we went through, he just knew it wasn't a good thing we'd been through.

"Neither I nor anyone, but we did, all because our parents sold us to get heroin. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to see how Ale is, because since you know everything, we do when we're not at home, I hope you at least know we're not going to stop doing it no matter how much you tell us you don't want us at in the mafias you have been in for years." I said turning my body a little in his direction.

"I tell you from experience, I don't want anything to happen to you, and you have to take into account you have a girl in charge." We both knew what we were walking into, but I also know Alison couldn't have been better cared for than by the two of us. "We won't let anything happen to Alison, I can assure you of that."

With that I went upstairs leaving my father alone drinking the wine and I went to Ale's room, but she wasn't there, so I go to Alison's room, where I find her, sitting on the bed of her daughter and an arm around her shoulders. The little girl moved to fit into her mother's legs and Ale was looking out the window.

"If you're going to stand there, you better leave." She said without looking away from the window. I went into the room and closed the door very carefully so as not to wake little Alison. I went to the other side of the girl and sat down next to her. Right now, I was worried about Ale, but what was most important was what that guy had said about the Russians, who were looking for Ale daughter.

"Did you know Alison was the daughter of one of those bastards?" she nod and I was surprised for a moment, because I'm almost sure if I was in Ale's place, I wouldn't have kept the baby. "Why do not you tell me before?"

"Because it's not worth it. It maybe he put the sperm, but it's nothing. Alison is my daughter and no one else's." She looked at Alison and run her hand through her hair. "Do you think what the guy said is true?"

"I am very sure. But they're wrong if they think I'm going to let them get to Alison." She said tensing up. Alison was a touchy subject for both of us, especially when we were talking about those guys, but now I can understand Alexandra's extra motivation to kill those guys…for Alison's safety.

"We won't let them get close to her. You shouldn't worry about that, but we have to make sure we get trustworthy people to take care of her, now less than ever we can leave her alone." She nodded, but I'm completely sure she already had a plan in her mind, it was normal for both of us, but especially for her.

"We have to talk about something, Ale" I said sitting on the bed on the other side of Alison. "If what you're worried about is that I slept with that guy, you're wrong. Not in a thousand years would I do that." I denied, but then I didn't understand how she got the information.

"How did you get the information then?" I asked lost "Making him believe I would sleep with him. Every guy I know as soon as you sit on his lap and touch his dick, they think they have achieved the goal of having us sleep with them." That's true, the people who forced us into bed were easily one of those people.

"What did you want to talk about?" she asked. "Dad knows." She only shrugged, telling me she already knew or had an idea he knew. "You knew and you didn't say anything?" She turned to look at me with a raised eyebrow. "Dad has eyes everywhere, did you really think he wouldn't know we were on the hunt for those guys?" she asked, and something tells me it was obvious that he would know

"I was hoping not." I said, looking straight ahead, "Everything is known in Dad's world. Everyone's got eyes everywhere Megan, so we have to be extremely careful what we do," I nodded. "A shit, I suppose." "I know and on top of that we have to take this fucking trip to fucking Disneyland."

I noticed every time Alison talks about the park, Ale would tense up and do everything possible not to go, and considering she did everything Alison wanted, it was strange she hadn't taken the little girl herself before. "You never told me why you hate Disneyland."

"Because that's where they took me from my aunt." She said, turning to look straight ahead. "You never told me the story of how you got caught." Really, Ale was one of the people who didn't talk too much about herself, but I always assumed it was because of everything had happened in there, but each time I am convinced that it really is my sister's way of being.

"My aunt realized my parents were taking drugs and decided to take me out of the house and take me to live with her, and those days could be said to have been some of the best in my life. My father wasn't that bad. He started taking drugs because he had lost his job and couldn't find another… before that he always played with me and even when he was high, he made sure my mother didn't do anything to me. The thing is, living with my aunt, she decided to take my cousin and me to Disneyland, and that's where they caught me. It's not pretty to realize your mother sold you for a couple grams of heroin, at least from my mother."

I had never heard her talk about her family in all these years, and she seemed to get along well with her father and was fond of her aunt and cousin. "And you don't want to go there for that reason" she nodded "I don't want to step foot in it, but Alison can't wait to go there and I'm not going to ruin her dream because of what happened years ago."

"If you want to stay in the hotel I would understand. I can go out with Analissa and Alison while you stay at the hotel." She shook her head, which I imagined she would, but I wanted my sister to be okay instead of being stressed out about stepping foot in that place again. "It won't be necessary, I'll have to deal with that once and for all." I know no matter how much I insisted, Ale wasn't going to let Alison go alone with me and Analissa even though she knew I could protect her with everything, but I'm also completely sure that being in the hotel without knowing about Alison would stress her more than what she would do if she was inside the park seeing her daughter herself.

"If at any time since we entered you decide otherwise or have a bad time, tell me and I'll help you, I'm not going to leave you." I took her hand and gave it a squeeze as a show of support. "Thank you, Megan, I appreciate it." I ended up putting my hand on her shoulders, and without getting on top of Alison, she put her head on my shoulder.

"You would do the same for me, we are sisters, after all." I noticed how she nodded "Sisters to the end." "Sisters to the end. I love you, Ale." I kissed her on the temple and hoped she would at least fall asleep for a while "I love you too Megan, now I think you should go to sleep. In two hours, the plane will leave and I don't want you to go to sleep in the corners."

I didn't like the idea of sleeping so little, but I would have preferred a thousand times to have gone with Ale to see that guy than to stay at home sleeping peacefully. "Can I stay here?" I asked, although I already knew I was going to be able to do it as long as I didn't wake Alison. She always told me the same thing, which was practically impossible, because this girl would sleep through an earthquake.

"You can do it as long as you don't wake Alison up." I laughed and lay down next to Alison who was still on top of her mother and hugging her legs. "She's a heavy sleeper like his aunt, so I doubt she's going to wake up." A small smile appeared on Ale's face, which at least confirmed to me she wasn't terrible and there was a slight chance she would fall asleep tonight.

"Try to sleep for a while, it will do you good." I said, but I could almost confirm she wasn't going to do it, even if I wanted to try. "I'll try. Rest."

At least I hoped she would sleep for a while. Whenever she was with Alison, she relaxed enough and in a better mood, calmer and all. All the happiness Alexandra had at this moment was Alison, and if something is more than clear to me, it's she was not going to let anything happen to her daughter and I would not let her lose her happiness because of some unfortunate people, so I promised myself I would do whatever it took to protect my niece and sister, whatever the cost.
