Platt's hawkish nostrils flared and decreased as Samenffa went on and on about how he missed the country. His eyes gleamed with delight. Those warm honey orbs that bewitched all that fell under his gaze had the clarity of a mountain stream. The lineaments of his face were in prefect proportion to each other.
He didn't have wrestler shoulders like Chris but had his fair share of the gym. His milky skin was as flawless as his teeth, signs that he maintained it.
"Platt?" Samenffa tilted his head questionly. "Why so quiet?"
Platt blinked away his daydream, although he had been quiet, he heard of what Samenffa said. "You seemed to have missed the city more than I did , one might wonder why you left in the first place."
A sad smile climbed its way up Samenffa's face. He shook his head. This person was especially petty sometimes. He took Platt's hands in his. "I missed you more than the city, Platt. You were always on my mind. I went to Chris because he was my last resort."
"You were gone for how long? Five months? But the first person you met when you return was the same one you were trying to get away from?" Platt's brows drew together. He couldn't hide his jealousy anymore.
Samenffa let out a long sighed, Platt's nose was flaring so hilariously as he pulled his hands away, if the situation was not so serious he would have laughed his guts out.
"Look Platt, I only came back for my father's company. After we declared bankruptcy we lost all our partners and for some reason they refused to help even after I gave them healthy offers except Anders Entertainments. "
Platt cocked a brow in doubt. "And that isn't suspicious?"
"Oh I know it was planned , It was either the Anders or we sell the company. Christopher was the last person I wanted to do business with. But when push comes to shove well …" Samenffa explained then shrugged after the last sentence.
"We shove harder. " Platt completed his sentence. He took Samenffa's hands and kissed them. "I am so sorry, I had no idea. I was caught up in my own fantasy. "
He looked in Samenffa's eyes, expectantly like a puppy waiting for a treat from his master. "But it is not too late, I will give you any amount needed to save your company, I don't mind taking a bank loan if my hospitals funds are not enough , just call off the deal with that bastard."
Samenffa freed one of his hands from Platt's gentle grip. He stroked his (Platt) smooth spade shaped bead. He used to maintain a neat face bush before his chemotherapy but now it is as smooth as a baby's bum.
"Don't worry about me, I can handle Christopher's drama and unfortunately it is too late to stop the deal." He lied.
He specifically added a clause in the contract where he could pull out if he wanted. Things ended badly between him and Chris. It was his fault, it was his plan. He didn't want a reunion but at least, Chris's genuine forgiveness should do.
"Trust me , I know what I am doing, " he said, patting Platt's hands reassuringly.
Platt nodded in understanding. He stared at Samenffa's nails and was tempted to smile, this person still blended his fashion in the weirdest way. Looking up , face contoured. "Chris and Nadia are back together and are posing like a power couple, going everywhere together while Chris cheats on her effortlessly. You know he is doing all this to get a reaction from you right?"
Samenffa slummed back, murmuring, "I know." "I need you to do me a favor…"
"Anything you want, angelfish. "Platt smiled. He could tell Samenffa had something on his mind other than the news of his twin sister getting back with his ex fiancé.
Scrunching up his face and biting a chunk of his lower lip, Samenffa plundered . If he went with Platt to the movie premiere it will cause drama and if he knew Chris at all , the man will start a fight. Something that the media vultures will feast on. No, he wasn't ready for such commotions, it will not help his already bruised image or Platt's. Chris did a lot to make the public hate him.
His face lost the frown , embracing a forced smile. "Nah, forget it."
Platt smiled. "If you say so." Pressing the argument will lead no where if Samenffa already have his mind made up. He lifted his hand to Samenffa's jaw and before the man could comprehend what he was doing, he leaned in, shutting his mouth with his.
Samenffa's mouth tasted like drugs but he didn't mind. If he opened his tightly shut eyes he would have met Samenffa's enlarged, shocked eyes.
He leaned in deeper, pressing Samenffa under him. He tried to push his tongue in but he(Samenffa) locked his teeth and at the same time pushed him away.
"Why, Platt?" Samenffa said with a barely audible voice.
Platt threw his gaze away from the flushed face man beside him with a hard frown. Rejection was the usual service with Samenffa. He had cried a lot for this person, begged on his knees but got the same reception every time.
"Di, Dinner should be ready now, "Samenffa stuttered, he drew his hand that was reaching for Platt's shoulder back. Usually when Platt forcefully kiss him, he would apologize immediately but today was different. He had finally push the patient dog to his limit.
Platt sighed as he loosened up. "Let's get going then."
The apology never came.

"Sir, your mother is at the gate, shall we let her in?" Simon asked. He was standing by the door as Samenffa walked in. He had just finished waving Platt good night.
Samenffa thought for a second before saying, "let her in."

"Samenffa?" Valentina called her son who had his head propped on his hand.
"Mn?" Samenffa hummed nonchalantly.
He sat up right , surprised by his mother's appearance. She was in her nightdress, at these time she was usually at some social party or event. He frowned when she staggered as she walked to him. She knelt when she was close enough and threw her arms around him. "I-I am so-rry." She cried.
