CHAPTER 036: The Present Time; Three Weeks From Yanarym's Arrival Day

AGOSTO 09, 2019. [40th Generation of the Seerian's Monarchy; King Mertl and Queen Eriela of Menotalis; King Mangus and Queen Coisan of Toliream; King Arran and Queen Sylviana of Dytalic; King Heron and Queen Ellana of Vortrion]

Right after the disastrous 'put-the-blame-on-the-maidservant-because-the-first-princess-was-assassinated-unjustly' mission but it turned out the first Princess did not die at all.

Having made the maidservant a scapegoat was botched and was a very wrong course of action to take… and it caused a backfire on them— big time.

Queen Eriela marched out of Princess Yanarym's bedroom with her two daughters. Aliah followed them from behind to heed the first Princess's command; showing the visitor out of the palace.

"This is getting exciting."

Yanarym stretched out her arms and rested her head on her palm as she stared at the ceiling. "Personality alteration, check. Three weeks of being patient for today's agenda is worth it."

The showtime was over and Yanarym could be at ease after the wholesome face-off with the royalties.

The short encounter with them gave her a new insight into how she could deal with them for the time being.

As of the moment, she was just digesting the bewilderment upon seeing how different the royalty or the high-class individuals were from the common people.

It was two completely unaligned worlds.

In addition, everything was going according to her plans… to the point it was starting to scare her. It was sailing so smoothly, and nothing was causing her a problem.

Guide-sama: "Can't you just be glad that it turned out great? You worked hard for the last three weeks. You deserved this accomplishment."

"Yeah, you're right. It's just I'm not so used to seeing my plan working this well," Yanarym said with a perplexed expression on her face.

Guide-sama: "Would you rather… for it not to work out?"

"That's not what I mean. You know, I always do the planning. But, this time, it exactly occurred just like how I imagined it. Back then, there would always be things that would happen that were out of the possibilities I predicted. I'm just bewildered that it goes so well today," Yanarym abruptly rose from lying down. "You know what? It's creepy."

Guide-sama: "Creepy?"

"That it went so well!"

Guide-sama: "Do you want things not to go your way?"

"… I mean, I don't like that."

Guide-sama: "So, you want it to go your way?"

"Of course."

Guide-sama: "And now it happened exactly like how you planned it to be, you think it's creepy."

"Right! Oh… It made me realize that in times like this, I'm extremely complicated to deal with."

Guide-sama: "Yes, I know."

Yanarym dropped her back against the bed once more. She could imagine Guide-sama's frowning at her and just giving her an 'I-am-so-over-with-your-everything' look on its face.

In all honesty, it was very disturbing that it happened exactly… Well, not 'exactly' as she planned because Aliah was not part of the variable.

Yanarym thought of this arising as a scenario as well.

She was getting better at predicting the circumstances and making a strategy ahead of time to have it to her advantage.

Was this because she was becoming a veteran in transmigrating?

The skills she acquired from the last worlds were so useful during the three weeks.

Keen observation and sharp analysis were the main skills that helped her to conclude the characters despite not being able to access their thoughts and past or background stories.

So far, she made a precise deduction from her research and intuition.

Chemicals and witchcraft knowledge were so beneficial during the period when she had to study poisons and potions. Because she had the core knowledge, it was not that hard to distinguish them.

She sneezed when her nose got itchy, 'It is still so dusty.'

Guide-sama: "You said you would clean but you never did. You don't really know how to clean, admit it."

"I know how to clean; I just don't have the time to do so. I was busy! You witnessed my three painful weeks trying to survive."

Guide-sama: "I'm not convinced that once you have the time, you can actually clean.'

"Come on, Guide-sama. You've been with me for a long time. Why can't you give me a little faith?"

Guide-sama: "It's because I've been living all my life with you. That's why I'm confident in some facts regarding you."

Yanarym pouted hearing Guide-sama not giving a shit about her claim of cleaning this chamber. She could not blame Guide-sama though, she said she would clean this room three weeks ago and three weeks later it was in the same state.

In fact, it became a little messier, maybe that was why Jasmine had not noticed anything different.

It was just filthier here.

During that period, she had no opportunity to clean up, she was too occupied.

Princess Jasmine would come to her bed chamber every next day, and it would always be around nightfall or in the morning.

Once a week, Princess Liezel would come along with the second Princess just to say she did the duty Queen Eriela assigned to her.

Yanarym memorized their visit so she could go to the capital with no worries about being found whenever she was out of her castle.

Her usual routine if the two princesses would not come over was:

In the morning when she woke up, she would head to Karinderya, the eatery where she ate from the first day she got into this world. The people there became her friends, and she was even close to some of the regular customers. During breakfast, she would gather information from the folks having a meal with her. Nothing would bring you closer to a person you share a meal with.

In the afternoon, she would have to go around the capital to check up on some locations. She would sometimes head to Ilustrado to read a free newspaper and walk on the stalls and chit-chat with her prospective allies on her incoming adventure once she conquered Menotalis.
