Chapter 188: Time Magic Doesn't Exist

Perseus POV

"I'll be honest, I didn't think you'd win." Grandpa Laker said as I approach my family and sat with them "I don't know what the eastern church was teaching, but it was like watching a brute fight."

"Yes, it was a bit disappointing, Perseus seems to only have bruises at most." the chief agreed "He barely put up a fight, the crowd loves a fight, regardless of it being bad or good as long as there's action, but a warrior would realize something is amiss if a 9-star is losing that bad."

People from my village really are weird, they don't criticize me at all when I just stomp the guy without any mercy. I almost broke the rule when I stomped the guy, luckily he rolled over to the side a bit and so I just stomp the crap out of him. Unfortunately for me, my next opponent is also pretty good, an 8-star mage from the village of the golden sand, don't know if that's arranged against me or not, but he's a tough opponent, I'll try not to break into his mind though.

"How much did we win?" I turned to Leilah

"Oh, I think 50 million at least." Leilah replied "At least, that's what the lady said if you were to somehow win."

"Well, I won earlier than the time most people bet on as well, we'll probably earn just a tiny bit extra."

Vince seems to enjoy the fight going in the arena without a care for the world, still a boy at heart, I guess, a bit above average at school, but otherwise normal. It's cute in a way, though I have a hard time talking to him sometimes, I'm mostly away from home, and every time I come back, it just seems that he's growing bit by bit, and I'm not there to watch it. I'm a terrible sibling, I hope he doesn't think I hate him as he grows up, once I have time, I'll be nearby at all time.

The rest of the day was just us there watching all the fights and just enjoying the atmosphere, as for healer Beek, the man helps a lot with pulling conversations from me since he's very talkative

, it helps me from saying awkward things, he's sleeping in the same suite as my grandparents and the chief, it got 4 bedrooms after all.

*****

The day was fun, the atmosphere and the audience just make every fight more exciting than it actually is. When I left, I walked by a group of priests from the eastern church and they stared daggers at me, they definitely don't like that I stomped the head of their holy knight a lot of times without any signs of mercy and with no intentions of ending it quick.

We went back to our suites and had dinner in a nearby restaurant to experience an authentic experience for local cuisine.

But just as we left the restaurant, I see Lilith standing for us outside, she then pointed at me, Maple, and Ruka.

"With me, now." She said with an expression that I haven't seen before

It resembles something that is similar to a panic, which is weird considering that she's the most confident person I know, as brazen as they come, and that requires a lot of confidence, which most of you readers lack, that's why y'all don't have a lot of friends.

"Don't worry, go." Grandpa Laker reassured "We can handle ourselves."

"Buddy, guard the hallway." I ordered which he then jumped off my arm into Vince's

Our rooms are in front of each other, so it'll be easy to guard as long as he stand in the hallway, the chief got my grandparents and Leilah got my parents and my little bro.

And why does Lilith need us 3 in particular? Did she encounter the other seasonal god and horrible memories came up, so she needs us to be there?

She then teleports the 3 of us.

*****

We arrived at her Tehios private residence, which is a huge mansion protected by a lot of strong guards, each general has their own private residence here since even demons from other continents can own properties here as long as they can afford the extra taxes, which should be an affordable deal for a general, who's also a goddess.

We got to the living room where a guy was waiting for us, he's a demon about 174cm tall, he got light brown skin, black hair with a white streak, and dark drown eyes. He got a thin black tail with a sharp tip, his tail resemble Lilith a bit. He's dressed in a think grey hoodie, sport pants, and sneakers...wait, sneakers? Is this guy a traveler from the other side.

"So why do you need me here?" Maple asked

"You...just introduce yourself." Lilith said as she sat down a just drank vodka straight from the bottle

The guy then coughed to get our attention and cleared his throat.

"Hi, I'm Orion Silver." he introduced himself "I'm the son of Perseus and Lilith Silver."

I'm sorry, what now?...No lies...must be one of those guys who delude themselves into believing lies as facts.

"It's not a lie, he's a match for both your blood and mine." Lilith chimed in as she impressively finished the vodka

"He's 20 and Perseus is not even 17 yet." Ruka pointed out

"Yeah, first of all, we never even had sex, and second, when did you get my blood? Did you do it when I was asleep? And that certainly does not explain how this guy is my son?"

"Uh, Perseus, I mean...dad." he sighs "I'm from the future."

"Yeah, right. Time magic doesn't exist."

"Not in this world, the other does."

"Alright, what's the password? I will have told people I trust in the future a certain phrase as a password so that I'll know if they come back from the future, I'm sure to have definitely joked about it to my future children, especially a guy who's the son of mine and Lilith's."

"You're scared of frogs." he answered

"Fuck."
