Chapter 294: Womanizer (2)

Perseus POV

"Oh Ruka, what are you doing here?"

"Everyone was worried, so here I am." she answered before taking a seat as well.

Meira, at this point, was trying to touch my face, only for her hand to go through, the conversation ended somewhat smoothly and it was just now Meira asking me a lot of questions, we haven't told her that I've reincarnated, so she thinks that I'm a ghost stuck in purgatory living with ghosts and stuff.

"Oh, is this beautiful woman one of your girlfriends?" Meira asked

"He wishes." Ruka replied

'Why do you both have a- oh the rings are different colors." Meira noticed almost immediately.

"Those were our rings." Dawn chuckled, "I'm a sun goddess, so the rings I made were gold colored while Jerah made the silver colored ones even though he wanted a more slightly blueish ring."

"Oh, so she's your fiancée." Meira said.

"No, we're not engaged, this ring just forcefully attached itself to me." Ruka denied.

"We are more than friends, just not in the romantic sense."

"Yeah, the fact that life is attached to you isn't a great thing for me, most people I go on a date with hate that I'm connected to you."

"That's like 20 and 0 now."

"17 and 3, the 3 were these weird noblemen, the ones I told you about."

"Oh, yeah, one of em like got engaged after."

"Back to me please, so how do you ghost know when to or when not to phase through things? You're now sitting on the couch, but at the same time, you can't control what goes through you, how do not go through the floor?" Meira asked, "And if you can help, can you make sure that my weird uncle is in hell getting what he finally deserves?"

"We're fictional characters, logic doesn't really apply to us." I answered to which Ruka just rolled her eyes, "As for your uncle, can't really tell you to be honest."

"You said that the death lady was your girlfriend, right? Can't you ask her?"

"Yeah, she's currently not available."

"No offense, but why are so many women attracted to you again? You're a great guy, but not the type of guy who would have several women within his grasp."

"I'm incredibly funny?"

"Right...unless...are the women you're with somehow all have some weird quirks?"

"Uh..."

"Yes." Ruka interjected, "Leilah's the jealous type whose hand can break anyone's bone when she feels jealous, Lilith is the goddess of demons who once had a former inferior complex towards the former and is somewhat a hedonist."

Hedonist? That's quite a word to call your own sister, quite harsh really. And for some reason, Ruka seems to like Meira because Meira is just giving out unintentional jabs at me every time she asks a question, a bit hurtful I must say.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Dawn exclaimed, "I traced a portal opening up between the 2 worlds back to the Urgess household, you might want to check with Rolan, it could be something very dangerous that is in the works."

"I almost forgot about him entirely, but I'll be sure to check it, he's currently in the midst of the war, so it should be easy for me to infiltrate his house."

"Luke, you should really find other jobs." Meira interjected, "I don't know the full story, but you are probably forced to do odd jobs to get a chance to head for heaven, I would suggest that you do less questionable work, even if it adds more time. God is real, you know."

"Oh yeah, Adam, the first human, is technically my great-grandfather."

"Yeah, can't believe that you think you're funny." she sighs and turned to Dawn who was just giving her a nod and signaling that I was telling the truth.

"God should really like to contact me once in a while, you know, I prayed to him a lot of times, and he didn't help me one bit to escape that hellhole, he created Adam and I'm a close descendant, just maybe saying hi every once in a while won't hurt."

I don't even want an apology, because it's not like he was responsible for everything, but being noticed would be nice.

"Hi." an older male voice spoke in my head out of nowhere.

"Why are you pale?" Meira asked.

"You've been talking a lot of hurtful things about me, you know?" the voice continued.

Is that God? Oh damn.

"If you're wondering, yes, I'm exactly who you think you are, and no I can not read minds unless it's a prayer directed towards me, only then will I be able to hear it." He continued, "So if you want to address me, just talk aloud."

Well, I didn't think that this would ever happen to me, and frankly, I'm quite shocked. Does this mean God heard every insult I threw at him during my times of frustration? Because none of my words were any flattering.

"God is speaking to me through my head."

"Oh, the old man is?" Dawn gave me a puzzling look, "Why is he interfering in a private conversation? He just broke one of our oaths."

"Ah, apologies." a voice boomed throughout my dreams, "But I will need to interfere just this once, and in return, I'll grant all of you any favor that is doable within my powers."

"My ex-boyfriend is a womanizer and now God is speaking, I think I'm gonna faint." Meira said before falling unconscious.

*****

Weirdest dream ever.

But now, I need to get started, I got up and immediately called Zach and put out a really huge request that even he was taken aback by, he said that it'll take a week or 2, but he'll be able to do it if he doesn't mind the world seeing a huge order arriving in the village.

I didn't mind, so one part is done, so now, I'll go check on what Zoris is up to, and I'll just have to deal with the 2 crazy seasonal gods, I really have a difficult path ahead of me.
