Jane was shocked to see blood dripping out of her wrist and glared at her but she just laughed.
"I punished you for your rude tongue." she warned, "next time if you entered my room without my permission or tired to command me, i will not slit your write but neck.'' She pointed the dagger at her neck and smirked, bringing fear in the eyes of Jane who was shocked.
She had only thought that Thea was the weakest but the girls standing in front of her were not weak at all. She was like a demoness thirsty for blood.
When Thea licked her lips, Jane felt goosebumps all over her body.
"Did you understand?" she nodded her head unconsciously as if Thea was able to control her mind and body.
There was something too different in her. She looked..
Jane only came back to her senses when Thea let her go.
"That's better. Now you can go out of this room but you know what you can say and what you can't, right?" she warned with a wink and then ran to the balcony and disappeared in the dark.
Jane was shocked, stumped and horrified. When she came back to her senses after a few seconds, she ran to the balcony but there was no one. The girl had disappeared into thin air.
"Damn!" Jane cursed as she looked at the blood dripping from her hands. That was the only proof that Thea was there.
She ran out of her room to tell her mother what had happened. But when she came out, Thea was standing with her mother. They were talking about something. When she reached closer, Thea looked at her and winked creating goosebumps all over her skin.
"What is it, Jane?" asked her mother when Jane turned to look at her. "If you are here to talk about what happened in Thea's room, then your father has already talked about it. You were a mistake this time. Didn't I tell you to be respectful towards your elder sister?" she asked in a soft but complaining tone when Jane jumped at her place.
She looked at her mother and then at Thea and then blinked.
"Mother.. Since when is she here?" she pointed at Them when her mother frowned at her use of tone but when she looked at the injured hands of her daughter, her eyes widened.
"What happened to your hands?" She ran and held her wrist, and then closed her eyes. "It's too deep. You go and bring the healing herbs!" The maid ran but Thea kept standing there and staring at Jane waiting for her reply.
"No.. nothing! I accidentally injured myself in anger." she finally looked away from the face of The who smiled and left the room.
Laughing when she came out of the room of her mother, she hummed a song as she walked back to her room.
Now she would stay in check for sometime and that time would be enough for her to leave this house. She just needed to explore this place for better knowledge.
As she walked back to her room and closed the door, she paused.
Her eyes turned alert and she took out the dagger from her waist. Turning back suddenly, she threw it on her left but frowned when there was nothing.
Cutting the air, the dagger hit the wall when she looked around and this time took a lot of daggers out and threw it in all directions.
She kept throwing them until her room was filled with daggers but each of them only hit inanimate things.
She frowned and walked in. After pausing for a second, she bent and looked under the bed, but there was nothing. Then she ran to the closet and opened it suddenly but it was empty too.
She opened the curtains, checked the washroom and even checked the balcony but the result was the same. There was nothing anywhere.
Her brows furrowed as she paused and sat on the balcony. She was sure she heard the sound of footsteps but she had checked the whole room thrice. If there had been anyone, she would have found it.
Suddenly, she stood up and peeked to the other balconies but they were empty too when she shook her head.
She must be too excited to what she had done and overthinking.
She laughed and walked back to her room and laid on the bed after checking it once again.
After an hour or so when she finally slept, the balcony where she was sitting, a figure appeared there at the same place out of thin air.
He released the breath he was holding for long and then shook his head. His one leg was dangling on the other side in the air while the other was folded as if it was a seat.
If I looked closely, it was the same posture the way Thea was sitting as if it was arranged for her.
He smiled as he looked at the sleeping girl. His clothes were shining in the dark as if it was the source of light in the dark. His face had a strange aura and his eyes were shining like stars.
He was sure that he was alert enough and had just walked to the balcony when she entered the room again but who would have thought that the girl would catch it and turn the whole room in the battle ground.
A smirk formed on his lips when he saw the ruined curtains and destroyed showpieces.
She was completely different from what others say about her. He had dug a bit but found nothing which he found in her. The more he thought about her, the more he found himself drawn to her.
"What are you and what are you hiding, young girl?"
