The Bride

The man had almost stepped out of the chamber when the monk instantly started to speak with his eyes yet closed and he was tapping his wooden stick on the floor.

"TAP! TAP!"

"Truth will be hidden..."

Horus turned to look at him in much surprise and he quickly walked closer to him yet again kneeling down on his knees, listening to his each and every word very carefully. It was very rare of him to make such predictions but whenever he did… they were extremely true. The last prediction that the monk had made was of Horus becoming the king and he had even told him the exact time and date of his coronation ceremony, which was exactly true. Horus's father was an avid follower of the monk but due to his pride, the monk had refused to help him, thus straining there relations. But, nevertheless the monk had cordial relations with Horus's mother.
