Had enough

"Director Oh, you really have to explain how you became the Senior Manager of Dream Axis if you can overlook a little mistake like this!"

Kim Ji-hun didn't look the least pleased about the mistake made on the drawing. He looked like he could not tolerate that kind of slip from her.

He believed he had every reason to get mad given how important the detail that was missing was.

Pushing away the board magnets with his palms, he raised the thin paper to her view then glaring at her, he tore it into 4 pieces.

"This piece of thrash has been rejected by me. Do it again, dimwit! You have 10 minutes!"

Oh Ji-Soo watched as the four-part paper came flying in her direction.

But hold on for a minute, did he just call her a dimwit?

What did he say about the design she spent the last of her strength to finish up the previous day? Did he call her hard work thrash?

"President Kim!"

Realizing the heavy insults that were being rained down upon her, Oh Ji-Soo felt fire rise from the pit of her stomach and quickly move up to her chest.

Did she look like a lackey to him?

Watching her flushed face and those fingers tightly clenched by her sides, Kim Ji-hun scoffed.

"Are you angry? Yes! You should be." He agreed.

"Now go and channel that anger into checking for details and bringing me a perfect work."

Checking the time on his table clock, he announced without a smile on his face. "You have 9 minutes left."

It looked like he was not moved by how offended she was as his interest was still in the time frame he had given to her.

For some seconds, Oh Ji-Soo remained rooted in the same spot as her angry gaze watched him go back to typing away on his laptop.

The brims of her eyes were red, and her nose flared up, but when she felt that stabbing pain in her palms due to clenching her nails a little too tightly, she inhaled sharply.

Releasing a deep breath as she closed and opened her eyes, she unclenched her fists and proceeded to pick up the pieces of the torn design draft on the table and the floor before turning to leave without a word.

It was only when Kim Ji-hun heard the sound of the door closing that he lifted his head.

Instantly, the wrinkles on his face smoothened out as he hissed.

"She's actually not a dimwit though…" he uttered in a low tone as his gaze remained fixed on the tightly shut doors of his office.

"Did I go too far?" Sighing in regret, he face-palmed his forehead.

Meanwhile, Oh Ji-Soo took the elevator and went straight to the 20th floor.

Going into the design department, she slammed the torn pieces of the previous structure on the desk of the departmental head.

Instantly, the man in his late 30s flinched as he was a bit absent-minded before she appeared out of nowhere to scare the shit out of him.

"Attach 'J Group Hotel and Resorts' to the new design." She instructed, ignoring the scaredy glances coming from the employees afraid of her sudden outburst.

When it looked like she was going to walk away, she remembered something and turned to look at the head of the design department.

"And take your time."

Since rushing to do a job always leaves room for mistakes, it would only be right if he actually calmed down to fix the mess in order to avoid another error.

At this point, Oh Ji-Soo didn't need to consider Kim Ji-hun's time limit and his opinion.

He would be actually underestimating her to think she was going to swallow down the insults he had thrown at her some minutes ago.

That would be a waste of his time.

Turning her direction back to face the exit, she stormed off with an annoyed expression on her face.

It was so obvious from her instructions and attitude that she had definitely received an earful from the boss.

"Aww… I think President Kim must be at it again." One of the junior staff whispered to her neighbour as her gaze followed Oh Ji-Soo.

"Did you hear her saying the manager can take his time working on the design again? Is she not afraid to get into trouble?" Another asked with a look of surprise flashing across her face.

She and a few other people couldn't help but think that Oh Ji Soo was taking a risk by trying to slow down the work process their big boss needed urgently in a bid to have her revenge.

Who would take responsibility if the President demands an explanation and unleashes his wrath on all of them?

Would she be able to handle him?

"Eun-bi! Where is my coffee?!" Oh Ji-Soo demanded as she furiously walked past her personal assistant's small workspace to go into her own office.

"If Kim Ji-hun doesn't kill me, I don't know who else can!"

Cursing under her breath, she went straight to sit on her chair and almost immediately, Eun-bi came rushing over with a coffee mug.

Hearing the yelling from her boss, of course, she had to immediately appear before her with the coffee order she had made earlier.

Luckily for her, the drink was ready and nearby. It only needed to be served.

"Director Oh, here is your coffee."

Sensing the change in her emotions, Eun-bi quietly announced as she put down the coffee before her.

Carefully, she took several steps back until she was close to the door before finally disappearing from her view.

The young woman was afraid of getting entangled in the web of dramas from her direct boss and the boss of all bosses.

Although she was worried about Oh Ji-Soo and also curious about what might have transpired at the President's office, she knew better than to wait patiently for the right time.

Picking up the mug of coffee that still had vapour rising from it, Oh Ji-Soo brought the rim to her lips and proceeded to sip its content without a second thought.

But as soon as the hot liquid touched the tip of her tongue, she exclaimed while quickly moving the cup away from her face in a reflex action.

"Aish! It hurts!"
