Chapter 23: Akatsuki is Attacking!

On each platform, there is a house on it with a gold colored totem attached near the door of the house. When the participant saw this, they got excited. They also felt relieved when they are given the time to rest.
Although the golden screen healed all the wound they get from fighting in the floating land, and recovered their fatigue from intense activities in these two days, they still needed to rest their mind. Therefore, this one day rest is really needed by everyone. With that in mind, they excitedly moved through the extended road and goes to their respective house.
However, their curiosity got the better of them when they looked at the Totem Vendor. On the lower side of the totem, there is a specified hole to place the ball of Gold Light. Above the hole, there is a screen, and on the screen, there is the list of items that can be exchanged with Gold Light.

Everybody were discussing about the item that can be exchanged from the Totem Vendor. They discussed even more on the Dojutsu list, as there are some new dojutsu that they haven't heard before. However, they felt sore when they saw the exchange price of these dojutsus are too high, and they cannot afford it.
"Hei Zokuto, Look! There is a bloodline list even further below. See this! Our Uzumaki bloodline is as expensive as the Senju bloodline. It also comparable to some kind of Sage bloodline." Naruto."
" Huh? Is this Otsutsuki bloodline the bloodline of our ancestor? That one really is expensive." Kimimaro.
"With that much of Gold Light as a price, I can use it to buy all the other bloodlines." Kubo.
In the end everyone sighed. Except for Zokuto, the rest of them is unable to buy much. Even for Zokuto, he can only exchange for some skills and bloodline, but not the dojutsu.

While the Chuunin Competition are still ongoing on the unknown location, something big happen in the shinobi.
Somehow Obito and Black/White Zetsu managed to convince Pain (Nagato) to quicken the Akatsuki's operation to catch and collect the bijuus. The moment the golden screen started the Chuunin Competition, that is the moment Akatsuki moved out to catch every bijuu in every villages in the shinobi world. Pain divided the Akatsuki into four team.
Team 1 - Sasori, Kakuzu, Hidan, Tobi (Obito)
Target - Yonbi and Gobi
Location - Iwagakure
Team 2 - Kisame, Orochimaru, Zetsus
Target - Shichibi
Location - Takigakure
Team 3 - Jin, Shin
Target - Sanbi and Rokubi
Location - Kirigakure
Team 4 - Tenshi (Konan), Pain
Target - Nibi, Hachibi
Location - Kumogakure.
In Iwagakure, while Tobi distracted Onoki, Sasori, Kakuzu and Hidan teamed up and attacked Yonbi's and Gobi's Jinchuuriki. Although the match up was looked bad for Akatsuki's team, they still managed to catch both jinchuuriki.
In Takigakure, it was even easier for Akatsuki's team 2 to kidnap Fu, Shichibi's Jinchuuriki. However, Orochimaru tried to betray his team and want to bring Fu away for his own experiment. This ended with Kisame almost killed Orochimaru. In the end, Orochimaru run away, and left the Akatsuki.
Somewhere at the shore of the land of Mist, a small ship just docked and two sillhouette jumped out of it. They are Jin and Shin, the Dragon brothers.
"So, this is the land of mist huh. It is pretty misty here." said Jin.
"That's why they call it land of mist, brother. Well, it really is misty here." Shin.
"..." Jin.
Jin then opened a map. This is the map of land of Mist. In it, there are many added detail to guide them toward their target. The Sanbi location was marked to be in Kiri village and the jinchuuriki is Yagura. Rokubi location on the other hand marked on an island, further east of land of Mist.
(A/N: In the Naruto manga, it was said that Utakata was a missing nin of Kirigakure. However, his location was not specified. So, blame me, but I will just point out his location as on an island, east of the land of Mist.)
"Well then, I will go capture the three tail bijuu, and you go capture the six tail bijuu." said Jin.
"Why do you get the easier three tail, while I on the other hand got the six tail?" complained Shin.
"The three tail is a bad match up for you Shin. According to Tobi, that Yagura guy is highly proficient in water release ninjutsu. Furthermore, he is a Kage level shinobi. Adding up to it, Sanbi is also a water type Bijuu. So it is not as easy as you say.
On the other hand, the Rokubi's Jinchuuriki, Utakata is only a Jonin level ninja. His bijuu's power is less reliant to water element. It should be doable for you to catch him." explained Jin.
"Whatever. It's not like I'm afraid of water." refuted Shin.
However, he still complied to his older brother. They then separated and moved toward their own target.
In the land of Lightning.
Tenshi and 6 Pain was seen running toward the direction of Kumogakure. One of the six Pain, Preta Path Pain is piggybacking the real Pain, Nagato.
"Hei Nagato. Are you sure you want to let Jin and Shin handle those Bijuus of Kirigakure?"
"Well, they are the one who volunteered to go to the land of Mist. Besides, they are more than capable of handling those bijuus."
"I am not going to question about ability. I'm sure, they as the Dragon brothers will easily capture Sanbi and Rokubi. It just that I don't really trust them."
"You don't have to worry about them. Let's just focus on capturing Hachibi and Nibi. Have you found their whereabout?"
"Yes. Here is the detail of their location." Konan handed a map that detailed their target in Kumogakure. Tendo took the map, and nodded after checking it.
"Let's go. We need to finish capturing all these bijuus before the Chuunin Competition of the golden screen end. After that, we can then focus on capturing the jinchuurikis who participated in the competition."
They then moved toward Hachibi's location.
Back at the land of Mist, Jin finally arrived in Kirigakure. His arrival is no secret to the Mizukage as he have been able to detect anyone in the village since the day he turned into a Bijuu.
The moment Jin arrived, Yagura already detected that this outsider is very powerful. He is on the level of a tailed beast! He decided to greet this outsider on his own. Seeing the Mizukage come out to meete him, Jin greeted him.
"Greeting Mizukage. I am Jin, an Akatsuki member."
