Chapter sixty two:

Everyone looked at Damian as if he had just spoken a foreign language. After seconds of intense staring, Maya spoke first.

"I think it's a good idea." Now the old couple's gaze returned to her.

"We can go with the cops," Damian shrugged. The older couple exchanged looks before nodding.

"We think it's a good idea too," Jacob said.

"Can you go now? Or another time?" Damian asked and Jacob stood up from his seat.

"We can go now if you want us to," Jacob said and Sarah nodded in agreement.

Jacob then excused himself and walked into the house to change.

"Grandma!" A tiny voice squealed, getting their attention.

"Speak of the devil," Sarah smiled as she looked in the direction of the voice. A small frame was running towards them. It seemed she didn't noticed the couple since she ran straight into her grandma's arms.

After pulling out of her grandmother's arms, her eyes fell in Damian.
