Thief.

Vixen!!!

Feng Lin's initial reaction to the girl was one of displeasure, and the fact that she was staring annoyingly at Sia didn't help matters.

"Am I not being clear here? Both me and my sister do not want to be annoyed by anyone at the moment." Feng looked at the boy and spoke in a cold tone, which made the girl who was walking by stare at him stunned.

After all, who was the boy that was trying to please the little girl by Feng's side?

None of the employees dared challenge him or speak ill of him, as they all feared his father, the local uncrowned King of the underworld.

But Feng did not spare a thought about it while shooing him off like a total badass.

"Huh! What the hell, do you know who you are talking with for all this time?"

The guy gave off an air of annoyance, and Sia felt a flutter of fear. However, after thinking back on what Feng had said before he left, a calmness settled over her.

"A retard, is it not?" The next sentence Feng said infuriated the guy to the point that those around him almost lost control of their laughter.

Despite this, the man's undivided attention was on Feng as he slammed the table and got to his feet to leave.

"Just wait; I will definitely take care of you." While making sure Feng couldn't see what he was doing, he silently slipped something into Feng's pocket.

"Hah!" When Feng saw the boy, he thought, "What an idiot the guy is to give me such a beautiful diamond necklace, which I can later give to Sia."

Feng then laughed and sent the item he had put in his pocket to the system space.

Sia's mood brightened as she reminisced about the time when she and her sister looked up to anyone who could eat this particular brand of chocolate ice cream with envy. But now that she was eating some, she could enjoy those ice cubes she had been admiring all along.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it; we'll be spending a lot more time together in the years to come, so feel free to visit any similar eateries in the meantime."

Feng was in a good frame of mind as he comforted the little girl by patting her on the head.

But there was melancholy in her expression as she considered the possibility that she wouldn't be able to remain at his side indefinitely and that they might have to part ways when the case was finally resolved.

'Her mood turned sour again.' The little girl was looking at Feng tearfully when he noticed her mood and pulled her ear, making her grimace.

"Big brother, why are you pulling my ear?" She looked pitifully at Feng.

"That's a question I have to ask; why are you sad again? As I previously stated, you can always approach me directly to discuss any concerns you may have." He gave her a stern look, and the little girl whimpered and pouted.

"Because," she said, "I was feeling down about the fact that I knew you wouldn't be by my side forever." Feng was taken aback by her words, and other customers who heard her smiled with honey.

As obvious as it may be, they took it as a given that Feng's little sister was worried that her brother's wedding or her own would drive a wedge between them.

"Do not waste your time worrying about such trivial matters; instead, relax and take pleasure in eating the ice cream." Feng Lin pondered as he put a spoonful of ice in front of Sia, who blushed at the sight of him feeding her but still took a bite with a red face.

While the audience continued to nod in anticipation of Feng Lin's impactful response, they reflected on how Feng Lin did his best not to clearly answer the little sister's question.

As a result, he was able to keep his young sister's tender heart safe and avoid hurting her by making any empty promises.

One young boy, around the age of ten at the time, began to pester his mother about getting a sister like Sia, and soon all the boys in the neighborhood wanted sisters, too.

Due to this,

The little boy's mother was put in an awkward position as she tried to conceal her embracement, but his father was laughing at his son's response, which brightened the mood of the entire room.

Haha!!!

With a bout of laughter, people started to talk with each other, where Feng and Sia also greeted the little boy mother, who was embarrassed previously.

Bang!!!

The boy once embarrassed by Feng entered the store with a police officer by his side, and silence fell upon the establishment.

"Sir, he is the one who might have stolen the necklace that is lost within this shop; after all, look at his clothes, and with such clothing, he came to eat at an expensive shop like this."

Feng took stock of his attire and realized that he himself was responsible for picking it out from the other store in a rush, which explains why it was a bit shoddy.

"Who?" When the policeman saw Sia by Feng Lin's side, a knowing smile appeared on his face. He sighed inwardly, remembering how many girls the guy next to him had ruined over the years.

He had a good idea of what was going on because he had been watching Sia, but he couldn't do anything about it because Sia was in charge.

"Really worthless." The cop made some mumbling noises as he approached the other suspect.

"Because the man thought you stole jewelry from his pocket, I need to do a thorough check." He walked over to check on Feng, but something about the clothes the little girl next to Feng was wearing made him feel off, so he looked over at the plaintiff instead and kept working.

'I think this time he is trying to kick a hardboard.' Muttering so, the cop looked at Feng and Sia, as he nodded and smiled.

"Sir, if you please." The cop asked Feng, who nodded and stood up while letting the cop check the pocket, where Sia seemed to be a little terrified by it.

However, they found absolutely nothing until the very end, so the cop turned to look at the plaintiff to find out why.

"Sir Tian, what is the meaning of all this?" Even before the cop could ask, the guy called Tian was already feeling nervous, as he had been glaring at Feng with anger visible in his eyes.

"Where is it? You bastard, tell me where you hid it." Tian was on the verge of bursting into mental curses as he continued to shout at a high pitch, causing Feng and others in the shop to frown.
