King Darticus

Darticus was busy talking to Yondrin when the starship arrived. It was the troop of Arakur. Arakur had decided that it was best that they meet the King himself and resolve this matter. Do you remember what we have discussed Archimedes? asked Arakur. That the Marakese of Ceraes themselves have reached out to us to move back into our planet. Yes of course, I shall maintain that, said Archimedes. They reached out specifically to me , when I was out there in Planet Xenon." The Marakese of Ceraes" had permission to visit the planet Xenon and nothing else. So there was no misuse of treaty here, said Archimedes. They were almost in the royal house by now. Yondrin was on his way out, they smiled at each other as they crossed their paths. Both Archimedes and Zeno walked inside the royal office and was Darticus relived to see them. He was all the more happy to see Arakur, as Yondrin had taken up a lot of his time and certainly not in a interesting way. Philippe was out on some work for the kingdom. Who was that ? asked Arakur in a suspicious way. "You are also wary of that man "asked Darticus. He certainly had a sinister look about him, replied Arakur. This is Archimedes, said Arakur. Archimedes reached his hand out and the king too returned the favor."Darticus" he said. Yes ofcourse, the king Darticus of Andora. Archimedes seemed to have overplayed his hand a bit and Arakur stopped him before it tuned into a mile. Archimedes, the name does ring a bell, said Darticus. Have we met before? he asked him. I cannot recall any such meeting king Darticus, said Archimedes. I'm not a king to you, am I? he asked him. They were shocked, how did you know that I was from a planet afar? asked Archimedes. The ship, said Darticus. "I have not yet seen a Marakese of these lands travel in that ship" he added. The stains of Viktor, still remain, said Arakur. "Hope we have not offended you" apologized Arakur. No, the times have passed. We have seen a race do a lot more harm than Viktor could have possibly done, said Darticus. In fact my own brother could casue more harm than any Marakese, the king said. Speaking about Viktor, said Arakur. Is there a chance that hsi people can come and live with us ? asked Arakur. In the mountains with you? I do not see why not, said Darticus. Both Archimedes and Arakur had a large smile on their face. BUt, said the king. Their smile was gone in an instant. What promise do they offer that they will not cause the planet any harm. "I certainly do not see them forbidding their ships aside" and their countless innovatins. Darticus snuffed . He looked at Arakur." What promise do they offer?" he asked again only this time his tone was indeed very rough. They have given their word, interrupted Archimedes. Arakur was a little agitated with the voice of Archimedes that has sprung upon into the scene. King Darticus, we are aware that the kingdom has its judgement agasint the Marakese riding in one of these, said Arakur. But this is the last time you will see one of us in one, assured Arakur. Archimedes wanted to speak out but he deemed that it was best that he kept silent. Darticus was open to them back in the mountains now. One small err, and they are out again, he warned. Arakur bowed his head seated down. Archimedes bowed too. Thank you, they said and walked away.
