IT WAS FOREVER
TIARA
I’ve been very busy for the last two weeks. Dad had regained his company, as my mother had said. Vincent wouldn’t leave me alone for a moment, and my mother had finished the AA sessions with praise. I was so proud of her.
Why didn’t I like the smell of tea?
“Mrs. Baker, you’re eight weeks pregnant. The baby’s healthy, so it’s time to do everything for two.”
“Hey, what about me? I had a part in that too,” Vincent said, pointing to my belly, as we all started chuckling.
The evening caught us at home, cuddled in front of the fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate. I knew where this was going.
“Tiara, you just made me the happiest man alive. Never live me”
“Don’t go all mushy on me,” I told him, and then kissed him.
