Lance's POV
I sighed as I remembered her smile while talking to him, and the subtle goading smile he gave me, it seemed like he was daring me for a reason I didn't understand.
"Hey, stop getting upset, you might get into an accident," Raphael said and I sighed again.
"I'm okay, I'm just stewing," I said and he scoffed.
"Tell that to someone who doesn't know you," He replied.
"You're upset because you saw them together," He said and I rolled my eyes at him.
He wasn't lying, but I didn't want to admit that, I had trouble admitting how crazy Maisie made me feel.
"Just admit your feelings, trust me it'll make you feel better," Raphael said and I shook my head.
Talking about her would just make me angrier and hurt, and also my inner wolf was ready to burst out. We kept thinking of her, and it was hard controlling him.
"Forget it, I don't have anything to say," I searched the parking lot to the central market and found an empty spot.
