Unwelcome

Mama had wandered off to go see if anyone would take in any of the children they had rescued while Shiny got a kid with a broken leg to the small hospital in Copper Creek. He also took Bones with him so people with more medical experience could check his hip and collarbone. Lasso wandered off to get away from people, especially Cypher. Cypher on the other hand was curious and started roaming the town. The twins stayed close to her to avoid losing her and to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. Everywhere they went people would glare, pull their kids inside, whispers, etc.

Ret then watched a rock fly passed them that someone had thrown, he had to push Cypher a little bit forward so it wouldn't hit her. "Your aim sucks." He chuckled and tossed the rock up and caught it in his hand. "Oh shut it! You 3 shouldn't even be allowed here!" A man yelled and Cypher stopped. "Well technically big boy we never harmed anyone within the fence of this town, so we're allowed to be here whether you like our presence or not" she grinned. The man started to storm towards her when an armored dog started running to him. Growling and barking. The man quickly shuffled back, tripping over his own feet in panic. "Hercules!" Cypher smiled and the dog ran to her, he went from monster to puppy mode while galloping to her.

Cypher kneeled down and took his helmet off. "There's my handsome boy" she smiled and patted his head. Slowly shambling to catch up was Dallas. "Zom!" Someone shouted and Jet quickly ran to Dallas. "No- no- not zom- she's alive-" Jet put his arm around her. "Hey bud..." Dallas smiled and leaned her head on his arm. Jet led her to Ret and Cypher. "People are so quick to assume here-" Jet whispered and Ret shrugged. "Fear, that's all it is" he sighed. "I don't know where X went so I sent Hercules's to find you guys..." Dallas told them and Ret nodded. "Eh we'll find him later on" Jet shrugged. Then they noticed Cypher was gone. "Oh great-" Ret mumbled while looking around.

Jet looked at Hercules. "You were supposed to watch her bud come on-" Jet picked up the dog's helmet and started walking. Ret carried Dallas on his back so she wouldn't be left behind and followed his brother. "Hey Dal does your dog know any command that has to do with seek?" Ret asked her. She had to think for a moment because her memory is foggy with certain things. "I think...do you have anything that smells like cypher?.." she asked and Ret looked at Jet. "Um- no-" the twins told her in unison. "I'm not sure what to tell you then..." she shrugged and laid her head in Ret's back. "Welp aimlessly roam until we start seeing signs of her being somewhere?" Jet asked his brother and he nodded, at this point this has become routine whenever Cypher wanders off. Which was pretty often whenever they're in a new area. They started roaming the town, trying to find anywhere that would attract Cypher's attention but she was no where to be found. Anytime they tried to even approach someone to ask if they had seen her the person would either walk away or go into the closest building to them.

Cypher somehow found herself on the other side of town. Does she realize how far she went from the twins? Not at all. Is she lost in the small town? Yes. The moment she noticed that the twins hadn't followed her on her little adventure to explore Copper Creek more. Now she started to search for anyone she recognized. While she roamed she kept getting dirty glares and the occasional rock thrown at her that she would dodge. Someone actually came up to her and started yelling at her because apparently her husband was killed in Dead End. Cypher didn't think she remembered every seeing the man she had apparently killed but she just went passed the angry widow and went on with her search. She finally found a familiar face in an empty area of the town right by the fence.

She wasn't too thrilled when she realized she found Lasso. Out of all the people in the group she's in she found the one person that despises her. Cypher stood their for a moment and watched him. All he did was just sit there a about 5 feet away from the fence, just out of zoms reach if they decided to reach through the fence, and just watched the land. "Kinda weird but alright-" she mumbled quietly. She was about 4 yards away from him and she could recognize that cowboy from a mile away. Cypher finally sighed and began walking to the cowboy. When she got about 2 yards away he pulled out his gun and held it up. He did not turn to look at her but she froze. "Get." Was all he said. "But-" she started and he put his finger on the trigger. "Oh come on, i don't know where anyone else is. Can I stick with you just for a little bit?" She tried to reason with him. "No. I came out here for a break from you." He snapped at her and she sighed.

"Well guess what" she started walking closer. "Imma just-" she then plopped down right next to him. He the put the barrel of his gun to her temple. "Hey now- I'm not gonna do anything- can we just chill-" she held her hands up in surrender then he sighed and put his gun back in its holster. "Fine. Not a word out of you." He demanded and she quickly nodded. About 10 minutes of silence went by when Lasso actually broke it. "How's your stomach." He mumbled. "What did you say?" Cypher looked at him in surprise. "I asked how's your stomach." He snapped at her. He wanted to know if she was still in pain from being shot by the arrows a month and a half ago. "Still kinda hurts- being burned sucks man-" she shrugged. Since her wounds had to be seared closed it still was very painful to move around but she manages to still move around.

"Well I see your rope burn is gone" she smiled awkwardly. She had never had a semi normal conversation with the guy. For the most part he ignores her, or is just an absolute asshole but today he's actually being nice, kind of. He still had a snappy tone but he wasn't threatening to kill her at the moment. Maybe he was too tired to do much? She didn't know but the poor man did look exhausted. "Need a nap?" She asked and just got a glare from him. "Ok- sorry-" she said. For a while longer they sat there in silence.

After a good half an hour of silence Cypher finally looked at Lasso again. His head was down and his hat was hiding his eyes. She looked at him for a few minutes, wondering what she would do. So like any rational person would do she gently lifted his hat and saw that he was asleep. He began to stir and she panicked and dropped his hat. Dying from angry Lasso was not on her agenda today. Not really paying much attention to who's next to him he leaned on Cypher and fell fully asleep again. She began to panic cause the moment he wakes up she's probably gonna get hit. At the same time she didn't want to just leave him here. Not like she would be able to get up without waking him. He's way to light of a sleeper. So she just said screw it and accepted her fate and sat there so he could sleep.

After an hour of searching the twins finally found Cypher. What shocked them was her being with Lasso and both of them were asleep. Jet took off Hercules's helmet. "Go wake them up" he whispered to the big dog and he galloped over to the two asleep. The loud clank of his armor alone woke both of them up but Lasso was more aware first. When he noticed he was leaning on Cypher he quickly sat up and shoved her away. "Agh!-..." she laid on the ground for a moment confused. Without a word Lasso got up and walked off. Hercules went to Cypher and started poking her face with his nose. "Ah...hi.." she yawned and sat up. Then she saw the twins and Dallas.

"I thought I told you not to wander off." Ret sighed and Cypher chuckled awkwardly. "Sorry-" she got up and brushed grass off herself. "What did you see that made you run off?-" Jet asked and Cypher sat there quiet for a moment. "A raccoon-..." she smiled apologetically and Ret sighed. "We'll stay with us. Let's go find Mama" he told her and Jet held Cypher's wrist and now they were on another hunt, this time to find Mama Williams.
