"Who... Who are you?" –Moscov is utterly shocked.
He couldn't make any sense at all.
"Oh, Master Moscov, how can you be forgetful? Didn't I just introduce myself?" –Elena again smiled.
"I… I…" –Moscov wanted to say something, but nothing came out of his mouth.
"All right, all right, I understand. You are thinking, how could you make a red-grade pill while you are only a Master Alchemist, right?"
Moscov didn't know what to say. It is as if the incident just now never took place.
But this time, Moscov wasn't feeling high and mighty anymore.
He sat and nodded like a kid that made a mistake.
"That's easy. I'll train and teach you how to do it. What do you say?"
Moscov didn't even know what to think and what to say.
He kept nodding like a broken machine.
But then he realized what Elena just told him.
"Wha... What did you just say?" –he breathed heavily.
"I told you I'll help you become a better Alchemist." –Elena said.
"Really? How? Are you an Alchemist too?" –Moacov had an expression of disbelieve.
"I'm not an expert, but I can do a bit of this and that." –Elena.
"Then how are you supposed to help me." -Moscov didn't understand what Elena meant by a 'bit'.
"Do I need to be an Alchemist to help you be a better Alchemist? All I need to do is put enough knowledge into you so you can become a true Master Alchemist." –Elena said calmly.
"How are you gonna put knowledge like that?" –Moscov felt like he had the same kind of talk before.
"The same way Mitchel Gerald promised to help you." –Elena took a sip from her cup before saying.
Moscov's Eyes went wide.
"How do you know about that?" –Moscov.
He has been having a few days because of that issue. He hadn't told anyone about it and only wanted to inform Davies. He didn't want to involve anyone else in this matter.
Things would only get more complicated then.
The people here love him too much. Though he would get good treatment from everywhere, the people here work for him from their heart. Like when Jon came, they stopped him from getting close to Moscov. If he really had to go, he would rather go silently. That way, the people who care about him won't pick a fight with a Viscount's son.
So, how did this young lady learn about that?
"It's not important how I know it. What's important... will you be willing to take my offer?" –Elena asked.
"Yes, if you help take another step forward, I'll gladly take any of your offers." –Moscov said without giving it a second thought.
Why would he follow a person that he knows is unreliable if he got that same offer from another place? So, he directly said yes.
Moscov thought that Elena was offering a top-grade alchemy book similar to Mitchell. But never in his dreams did he think that what Elena was offering was much more than the so-called 'top grade' Alchemy book.
But that doesn't matter. What mattered here is he directly took Elena's offer with no questions asked.
This time, it is Elena, who has a dazed look in her eye.
What does this mean?
Isn't he going to ask exactly what she was offering, and what is she asking in return?
She had mapped out how the whole conversation was going to play out in her head.
She started this conversation as she would deal with a merchant. Think about the positive and negative sides of the offer. She even put up a show of her strength to get a good deal in this conversation.
What she didn't take into consideration is that she isn't dealing with a merchant this time but a fanatic Alchemist who has dedicated his life to Alchemy.
"All right. I'll need you to make me the pills I need in return for free. That means you would bear the cost of it."
Though Elena has practically got a blank cheque from Bianca, she isn't the type to take favors from others for free. She always tries to pay her debt.
And taking too much from her will mean her being indebted to her.
And she wants to avoid that as much as possible.
That is the reason she wanted to earn a small fortune for herself and have Moscov help her with the medicine.
"Of course. I have no problem with that. Anything you get from me is free." –Moscov again agreed as if it was natural.
Again, Elena felt that something was wrong here.
She was actually going for a relationship where she would only pay for the ingredients while Moscov would give his energy to help her get better quickly.
But, now Moscov directly agreed without mentioning another word.
The way he was talking, she knew she could have taken it even further if she tried. Like... asking for a tuition fee.
But she just wasn't black-hearted enough. She wasn't bad enough to have a stupid guy like Moscov pay for her when she wasn't losing anything.
How long had she been dealing with those greedy merchants? How could she still be so soft-hearted?
She was actually feeling sorry for this guy?
Her aunt would surely be disappointed if she saw her not taking the full opportunity when the chance presented itself.
"All right…"
They talked about how they were going to continue their relationship from henceforth. But in the end, it wasn't a talk at all.
Elena just kept talking about this and that, and Moscov kept nodding.
Elena didn't try to use any more of her negotiation techniques and just kept giving out her terms.
After the talk, she gave Moscov a handwritten copy of a level three yellow-grade pill.
This had a detailed procedure of how the pill was going to be made, what could substitute what, and everything about the pill.
This wasn't just the experience of one person written in a diary. It is the experience of a lot of talented people over a long period of time.
Moscov was fascinated by the knowledge contained in a single-pill recipe.
Seeing this, he had a newfound gratitude toward Elena.
Till now, he was only thinking of her as a powerful person with high-level background.
But now she had become his benefactor.
So, when he was leaving Elena's place, he bowed at least ten times before his departure.
Elena never thought having an admirer could be so exhausting.
After she saw him out where Jon was waiting for Moscov, she directly went to her bed.
Today, she was planning on sleeping the whole day to get over her exhaustion.
.
After two days of hard work, Olen was finally getting a bit used to his new persona.
He took care of his customers very swiftly.
"You are natural at this. I've never seen anyone getting used to it as quickly as you." –Mia said.
"Serving may look easy, but it's not. People need time to adjust to it. Everyone calls for you from left and right. And you have to keep your attention on everyone." –Ginia.
"Hehehe, it's not that big of a deal. The customers are just so good. When I talk to them, they also share their stories. So it's very fun." –Olen said.
"You brat do more work if you have time to gossip with your customers." –Berdly said from the side.
The three of them chose to ignore him.
"Most people get nervous when too many people look at them. It is a hard feat to accomplish. It's marvelous that you could get used to it so quickly, young master." –Mia said, showing genuine admiration.
"Oh, I think this fake identity is helping me to do that. For some reason, I don't get nervous knowing that if I mess up, none of the blame is gonna come on me." –Olen smiled.
"Look at that. Our young master likes cross-dressing. Maybe, he should dress like that all the time." –Berdly mocked. He was very grumpy.
Even after all his effort, her beautiful flowers are still surrounding that stinking brat.
"Shut it. One more bad word about young master, and don't blame me for being impolite." –Ginia said.
"What's up with this old man? You are just jealous that young master is doing so well at his job." –This time, Mia joined too. "Young Master, please don't think anything about what that geezer says. You are doing your best to fulfill your task. You don't need to be ashamed of anything else." –She encouraged.
"Yes, Young master, Old man like Berdly just says those things because they can't look cute even if they tried. So, don't mind him." –Ginia pulled him closer and hugged him tightly in her bosom.
Olen was having a mixed feelings hearing their words.
He understands that they are trying to comfort him, but he doesn't want to be just cute.
But he threw those thoughts out of his mind and enjoyed the comfortable feeling he was having right now.
Seeing Ginia's action, Berdly couldn't take it anymore. But when he was about to lash out, he was directly thrown out of the room by Mia.
"That pervert is no good at all. He must have frightened you very much, right, Young Master?" –She said.
Seeing big sis Mia looking at him with those big round eyes, Olen could only nod his head, which was comfortably kept in between two pillows.
"Don't worry. If that pervert does anything, just tell it to big sis. I'll take care of it." –saying so, she too came and hugged him.
So, Olen's comfort level doubled in a moment.
At that moment, he decided to work at this place a little while longer.
