So, you did nothing wrong?

Today will be the launching of Tulin in Berdly's Shop. So, it is bound to get busier in his shop.

To cope with that, the presence of Olina was a must.

So, Jon Went ahead and faithfully delivered Olen to Berdly's shop.

For some reason, Olen didn't protest much today like he usually does.

Jon didn't have to do it anymore. But he still did. Cause Berdly asked him by paying him money.

Berdly didn't want this brat to be here too. But he hadn't hired any new employees yet. Since all this was happening so fast, he didn't know if he could trust someone new in this short time.

So, he had no choice but to ask for Olen again.

And Jon was happy with making some extra cash out of it.

He didn't care about what Olen thought of it. That brat should think of it as a good life experience. There's nothing wrong if he made a few silver coins in this process, right?

So, Jon happily walked back to the mansion as if he hadn't done anything wrong. The shop is just across the street. So, there's no need to worry about that brat at all.

But not everyone thought the same.

Just when he was about to enter the house, he got hit by a fan on his head.

"Ouch, damn it. Which bastard is it?" –Jon cursed.

"Watch your mouth. Jon." –A woman's voice came to his ear.

Jon knew this woman very well. Few people in this house could go toe to toe with him. Apart from the Knight Captain Heavy, who is stronger than him, only two people have that kind of ability.

The lay talking to him is one of them. Her name is Aliotte Rielle. She has silver hair and silver eyes. She works directly under Rhea Alden Baron's Second wife. Because they are both part of the Intelligence group for the Alden Household.

After Rhea was taken as the second wife of Baron, she became the head of the intelligence group.

Now, here's another fact. Though Rhea has never shown her power to Jon, he heard that she is as strong as Knight Captain. But since she hasn't ever shown it to Jon, he never included her in the people with the strongest fighting power in Alden Mansion.

In any case, those things could be discussed later. Jon's current question is, what does this 'know it all' want with him?

"What? Do you have something to say to me?" –Jon asked. He hated dealing with this woman. He knows that when it comes to dignity and all, he is the last person anyone would look up to. But this bitch takes it to the next level.

Being the strongest in the house, they both have to talk at almost regular intervals. But each time he talks with her, she makes a face that looks like she has just stepped on shit.

So, Jon tries to avoid her as much as possible. So, why is it that she wants to talk with him now?

"You are asking me that?" –Eliotte gave Jon a questioning gaze.

'What is it now, women?' –Jon doesn't remember doing anything wrong. So, where does this retribution come from?

"So, you conveniently forgot…" –Eliotte gave Jon a disdainful look.

"Okay. Tell me. What's wrong?" –Jon knew he wasn't going anywhere. So, he directly asked.

"Jon, the third young master is your responsibility. So, why are you having my men guard him? You know that the men I can use are already stretched out because of Baron's message. We don't even know the actual situation. Yet, you are neglecting your duty and making others do your job. So tell me, what do I do with you?" –Jon felt like a huge mountain standing over him.

But there was only one thing that was going through his mind... which of those idiots had the guts to snitch on him? They already had a job of looking after the Baron's Sons and daughters from the shadow. So what if he left that brat in their care?

Now they are complaining against him for letting them do their job? Doesn't this stupid Eliotte understand that her men are just trying to slack off on duty?

These thoughts only spun in his head, but he didn't have the guts to say them out loud.

The previous mess-up with Moscov has already awarded him with extra duty at the stables early in the morning for two whole months. On top of that, his pocket money was cut in half.

He is already starving. Otherwise, how could he be bought by Berdly with just five silver coins? He would have sold him for at least two gold coins.

"You don't understand. If I had stayed at Berdly's place to guard him, his cover would have been blown on the first day. So, me, not being there is actually protecting him." –Jon said righteously.

"Yes? That brings me to the second question. Why am I seeing the third young master of Alden's house doing a cross-dressing show at Bredly's place? Please explain that to me first. I haven't told Madam Bianca about that yet because it is just too shameful. But you understand what will happen if the words get to her, right?" –Eliotte asked again.

Jon couldn't say that Olen was earning him some pocket money. So, he instead acted righteous.

"Every man must repent for his action. This is so that he could be a better man and distinguish right and wrong." –Jon.

Eliotte's eyebrow twitched.

"I didn't know you were so righteous." –she said mockingly.

"…"

But didn't say a word. Right now, he is the most pious believer of Buddha.

Eliotte smiled at this behavior of Jon. She anticipated this type of shamelessness from this brute. And she had the perfect medicine to cure it.

"All right, I understand." –Eliotte said, confirming her understanding. "Since you are so righteous. Why don't we right your wrongs too?" –she smiled.

And Jon never liked this smile from her. She is just too cunning. He didn't win a single confrontation when arguing with her till now.

"What? What wrong are you talking about? I didn't do anything wrong." –He said nervously.

"You ordered my men to do your duty without asking me first. I think that is wrong enough to get you a punishment, right?" –Eliotte smiled sweetly. "But I'm not heartless to give a colleague a terrible punishment for simple things like that. I know you mean well when you did what you did. But still, for you, one of my men is tied up. So, why don't you help me out? You are free anyway. And I need some muscle in something I need to do. And since you have plenty in that department, it's perfect, right?"

Jon was tongue-tied. He had just dug his own grave. And Eliotte was burying him in it.

'Why are all the women in this house so fearsome?' –Jon thought.

Jon had no choice but to follow Eliotte for whatever she planned on doing to him. He didn't know what it was, but he was sure that it wouldn't be covered with just five silver coins. He felt so defeated. He must get the rest of the coins out of that damned Berdly's pocket.

.

Anyways, with good preparation, the product launch of Tulin was a huge success.

The recommendation from Amanda worked like a charm.

Berdly knew of the connections Amanda had with the rich ladies, but he had no idea just how much a simple recommendation from her could make all those ladies go crazy to come to his humble store and purchase the product.

He had already informed the well-off regulars who came to his shop about the new product. But the number that came from all his other connections didn't even make one-third of the customers brought from Amanda's words. And more than that, each of the people didn't just buy a single bottle. Each and every one of them had a heavy pocket and bought a few bottles at once, saying they would want to give them to others they knew.

So, the shop almost had a shortage of products by the end of the day.

Berdly sold more than five hundred bottles in a single evening.

This may be a small number for those old stores, but to him, this number is astonishing.

Berdly had a new understanding of the value of money. From what he understands, they just earned more than a thousand gold from this single evening business, in his small shop.
