Fun Day Out

"So, how is it?" –Elena.

"Yes, yes, Very nice. You should definitely buy that one." -Olen said after hearing Elena calling.

"Yeah, I like this one too, Okay." –Elena said. She turned to change back again.

"Oh, teacher... wait, wait. I think I haven't seen it clearly yet… Can you give it a… spin..? So, I can have a better look?" -he asked hurriedly as he saw her going back in. How could he let it end with just that?

Before, he didn't know better, but now he does. So he had to ask for more.

Elena turned and gave him a look. This kid is unbelievable. But still, she complied. It's just a harmless request, after all.

"You happy." –she said after going round once.

Olen still thought it would be so disappointing to end it here. Then he looked at the other clothes brought by the shop attendant. "How about you try these too?"

Olen took all the clothes before shoving them in her hands before letting her get back in.

Elena took the clothes and looked a little troubled.

Well, she likes to dress up. But mostly, she did that with her friends. Of whom, none were there. The only person seeing her try these on would be her student. She felt a bit embarrassed thinking about that.

But her love for dressing up prevailed in the end.

'I'm an adult. So, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Besides, he's just a kid helping me choose my clothes.' –she said to herself in order to get over the embarrassment.

But when she got out wearing a blue-white and saw the look of admiration the attendant and Olen duo gave her, the embarrassment she felt went up the smoke.

After that, she started enjoying trying out the different dresses too.

On the other hand, Olen was on cloud nine.

'Oh, this is bliss.' –his gorgeous teacher was giving him a feast of the eyes. How could he not be happy?

Normally Elena would always wear long dresses in her house. But here she was trying out the shorter ones, and the sleeveless ones too.

Look at those long smooth legs; look at that waist move when she's giving a pose. This is Bliss.

His future wife is just the cutest right now.

Well, she would have been the cutest all the time if not for the occasional beat-down she gives him.

But let's not remember those for now.

Olen devoted himself to enjoying the view in front of him.

Elena had a lot of fun dressing up. After a long time, they finally finished their shopping and left the store. By now, both Elena and Olen got hungry.

"Let's go find some food. Is there any good place?" –Elena asked.

"Oh, oh, I know a place." –Olen was enthusiastic.

"Shut it, kid. You had your pick. It's my turn." –Jon said.

He was bored with standing outside the clothing store for two hours. Now, if he couldn't even get some fulfilling food and some booze, he would get crazy.

How could a kid know where to get the good stuff? He isn't even allowed to drink. At most, he would know where there are some tasty sweets could be found. How could Jon live on those?

So he asked Elena, "I know a place that serves good meat and beer. It's cheap too. Want to come?"

Elena isn't a person who cares much about alcohol. It's fine if it's served to her. But it didn't matter if it was not served too. But seeing the poor guy's pleading eyes, she felt she should grant his wish. In any case, she was enjoying herself after coming out of the house after so long. So, it would be good if the people around her could enjoy it a bit too. The saying 'Joy only grows when it's shared' is really true.

So they came to the west corner of the market.

Elena could tell that this place was good from the crowd in front of it. It wasn't a high-end shop. But the place was clean and had a simple decor. So, that's a good thing.

They went in and were greeted by a rowdy crowd. Everyone was yelling from every table. Ordering food, or asking for seconds.

The customers mainly consist of men. All have some visible scars.

Elena could tell most of the people here were battle veterans.

"Welcome, customers." –said a cheerful petite girl. She had golden hair and brown eyes. Her cheerful character made her a very likable person. Many of these customers came just to see and talk to her.

"Oh, Jon, you are here. And you brought frien…" -the girl said as she found out that it was one of her regulars. But she froze when she saw the person behind him.

Jon's large body obstructed the person behind him. So, she didn't see Elena at first.

But when she saw her, her tongue-tied. She was mesmerized for a bit.

Then she smiled, "Oh, dear customer, welcome to 'Sakura Petal', my name is Rimi. Please come this way." She completely disregarded Jon and gave full attention to Elena.

"Oi, Rimi, what type of manner is that? You should sit me down first." –Jon grumbled.

"Oh, can't you see I'm dealing with a customer? Just go in and grab a seat." –She said.

"Miss, are you alone? I can give you a spot a bit away from the crowd. You can sit peacefully." -She smiled charmingly.

"Oi, is your brain dead? She is with me. Now get a seat ready quickly." –Jon got very angry.

Whenever this calamity is around, everyone gives him a shitty attitude while she gets VIP privileges without even doing anything. How could they do this to him?

"Oh, stop saying weird stuff like that. You can't even confess to that Sienna girl. So, stop boating. You won't get a girl this beautiful in ten lifetimes." –Rimi exposed Jon directly. How could this shameless person insult this new angle like a customer saying that type of thing?

"Dear customer, please don't mind him. He's actually an idiot. And don't know what he's talking about." –Rimi said as she pushed Jon to the side.

"It's okay." –Elena couldn't help but smile seeing the interaction between the two. From the way they talked, they clearly knew each other very well. It was a harmless fight. "I know that he's an idiot. But unfortunately, he's telling the truth this time. You see, I'm here with the third young master of yours, and this guy had to come along." -She explained and pointed to Olen beside her.

"Oh, is that so? My bad, I made a mistake then. Welcome to you too, Young master." –Rimi bowed to both Elena and Olen. But her apology didn't extend to Jon. She looked at Jon and sighed inwardly.

"At last, you were of some use, huh?" –Rimi said, leaning closer to Jon.

"What do you mean?" -Jon asked. He was visibly displeased by the way Rimi was treating him.

"Don't you see? The crowd just went silent." –She showed the people looking at them... more precisely, at Elena from every table.

"You don't see a beauty like that often, you know. In the coming days, the customer would surge up to get a look at her. So, my business is going to bloom a lot in these few days." –She said smilingly.

Jon's face grimed. What is there to look at even? If they knew they might get killed just the moment they approached, would they still try something?

No, these people are all nutjobs. They might try that too. Well, these guys are just that crazy.

"Just get us some private seats." –Jon said. He gave up.

"Sure, please come this way." –Rimi turned to Elena before saying. Of course, Elena heard that little conversation but didn't say anything.

They were brought to a corner seat of the shop so that the other people had no reason to come closer to them.

It seems the meat here is the main attraction. You can find a lot of spirit beast meat here at a reasonable price.

So, Jon ordered grilled meat for everyone with beer for Elena and him while Olen was served juice.

The portion served here is huge. Three people could have dined with just one order. But Jon still ordered one portion for each.

But none of it was wasted. The leftovers from Olen and Elena's portion were finished cleanly by Jon. On top of that, he asked for seconds.

Elena didn't know how could he eat that much.

Jon just grinned, seeing that the both of them were looking at him like a strange creature. "Kid, you can't get these babies if you can't even eat that much." –Jon showed his biceps.

Olen has always been envious of those, and Jon knew it.

"So what? You still got beaten by this here." –Elena laughed, showing her arms too. With that, Jon's smile faded.

"Yours don't count." –Jon said softly.

"Don't worry, a proper cultivator doesn't need muscles to show off. You just have to grow at your own pace." –Elena consoled.

Anyway, that eating style is quite common in this place. People here are mainly mercenaries or adventurers. And all of them have a big appetite.

This store mainly emphasizes its sales quantity to make up for the low profit margin. And these people love the deal. So, it is a win-win situation for both parties.

Elena has been to these types of taverns a lot. And she too prefered this type of place over those fancy ones.

All in all, she had a great day today.
