So, the story goes something like this.

The FMC gets ambushed by Assassins sent by her brother due to a power struggle. She somehow manages to escape the perilous situation but gets gravely wounded in the process. 

Having lost all her men in the ambush, she had no choice but to lay low in a remote place. She found out that, in this place, she was absolutely the most powerful person.

Having no one else to fear, she peacefully takes her time to recover.

In this process, she takes the MC who is the Third son of the Baron of the area, as her disciple.

But little to her knowledge, the Baron’s son starts falling in love with this divinely beautiful Lady he calls his teacher.

The story is slow-paced at first to develop the characters.

The MC doesn’t get a golden finger to suddenly get super strong. To make up the time, I’ll use time skip from here and there.

Jon's upfront fighting style and Moster's bestial fighting style had Graham and his men fooled.

In most cases, shadow-type fighters are good at ambushes just like the other two knights in the group. They tend to be quite lacking when it comes to a frontal fight.

Shadow and darkness users mainly cultivate burst-type attacks to make the best use of their concealing and unpredictable abilities.

That in turn makes them bad in long-drawn fights.

When Jon showed his ability to fight long-drawn fights, the enemy had already assumed him to not be any type of elemental cultivator, at least not a powerful one, and most definitely not a shadow user. So, when Jon used his shadow dive it shocked everyone.

As Jon got out of the shadow, he was already out of the encirclement and was looking at the back of the enemy that was about to launch an attack on Monster.

Killing Enemy
