Breaking Through

The guards of the royal palace were competent enough. Some people kept observing and instructing about Olen's movements, and the guards were prepared to tackle accordingly.

Even though Olen would make some lose track of him at times, they were still able to find Olen's position quickly.

There were too many eyes on Olen for him to shake them off.

Those watchers warned the guards, who kept increasing in number every second, that the intruder would come face-to-face with them in thirty seconds.

This made the guards get even more alert and look intently at Olen's direction.

The watcher counted down, "Twenty-five seconds till in range…"

"Twenty seconds till in range…"

"Fifteen seconds till in range…"

The back gate was locked. But it wasn't as enchanted as the walls on the side. So, the guards are mainly in charge of guarding against assaults like these.
