*Brmmmmmm* the sound of the railgun that jame made was like preparing to fire at the wave of mercenaries, and then a sound and the railgun shot flew straight at those people, the shot was soo powerful that destroyed the road and made a big hole, and also obliterated several people and wiped out three tanks. they fired missiles again, and those missiles head directly at jame and kirie, saw that kirie made all of her six level 9 guns that include a type 90 laser machine gun, an assault grav rifle, an automatic pulse grenade launcher, an eight barrel chaingun, AA-120, fully auto electric shotgun and a hand hold artillery canon, fired at those missiles and stopped them from hitting.
jame: "nice shot, ready for round 2?!" *he seems excited*
kirielane: "ready when you go"
jame: "alright".
those people getting closer to our spot, jame and kirie rush forward at those people, jame turned his right arm to normal and then created a pinch black sword, it looks broken but somehow still stays normal even though there was a big crack in the middle. those two got shot by those mercenaries, jame, and kirie seem not to bother about it even tho they got shot by level 8 and 9 weapons. jame and kirie started exterminating those guys. the scene was bloody when those mercenaries were mercilessly killed by jame and kirie, the look on jame and kirie looked very satisfied. I pulled my phone out and tries to record everything, nathan saw that and he said:
nathan: "bro are you for real right now?" (he yelled when there was a lot of sound coming from the battle)
me: "yeah I need to save everything, besides we can't go anywhere" (yelled)
nathan: "goddammit clare get down"
Lilly: "guys get down!"
a projectile flew toward us, I luckily ducked in time, otherwise, I would get hurt. the battle continue until the mercenaries deploy five containers, there was a core, they boot up, jumped out of the container, and stand their ground, those cores looked like the ones from the wood but kinda different, one had short brown hair, one has giant blades, one look bigger, one has 6 limbs and one has a plasma sword, all of them really looks 50% human, they charge up and attack jame and kirie.
me: "you guys see that!?"
nathan: "those cores looks like the one we have seen before"
me: "yeah, Lilly can you scan them?"
Lilly: "I did, and I can't detect what type they are"

jame: "oh wow more core looks like us, better end them before they catch limbs on us"
kirielane: "V-core, they really tried to make a type of core to counter you huh?"
jame: "counter ha they can try" (raised his sword) "come at me!"
three of the core rush attack jame and three other goes for kirie. jame got stabbed by a plasma sword and two other cores released a barrage of attacks, as for kirie, she got pushed away from jame and used her blade wings to attack and fly, and three core used their fly ability to catch up with her, they keep on attacking her using melee and guns.

we saw them attack jame and kirie, the fight was really intense, jame got pinned down, but he quickly gets out and eats a whole ton of attacks from the three cores, he seems normal. as for kirie was no better, she was struggling against that big core and two other use their machine guns to shred her down, she can barely stand after those attacks.
me: "Jesus. we have to do something"
nathan: "you crazy? we don't have anything"
me: "uh oh this" (i take out the cube from my bag)
nathan: "we don't know how to use them"
me: "we have to try"
me and nathan struggling and figuring out how to use these cubes.
Lilly: "uuuh guys"
I and nathan looked at the way Lilly pointed, the projectile that flew over was a droid machine, it still working, and it coming fast at us with a plasma cutter. "AAAAAH" me and others scream out in fear as we find a way to activate this weapon that jame made for us. it getting closer, we are gonna die.
me: "JAMEEE!" I screamed out jame for help as he looked back while trying to kill the second core that attack him.

jame: "CLARE!, kirie!"
kirielane: "I can't, help me!"
jame: "crap!"
jame pushed 2 cores away from him, then he turned his left arm into a blaster then shot at three cores that attack kirie. after kirie got out, jame rushed at us, trying to save us.

we are going to die... the droid is gonna kill us... our life is long enough to go on this journey, dangerous and bloody. the droid is right in front of us, jame and kirie don't have enough time to save us, we closed our eyes just to scream in fear, this is the time we die. *BANG* a sound went up, I thought it was a sound that the droid made, but it isn't, as I open my eyes, I see the droid's head has been shredded aside, I looked in confused, Lilly open her eyes and said: "we still alive?", the droid fell down to the ground. it has been killed, I looked at nathan and see him holding a powerful hand cannon, shaking in shock, he made the cube jame made for us turned into a weapon. nathan was in shock:
me: "nathan, nathan!"
nathan: *heavy breathing* "yeah, I'm..."
me: "calm down you just saved us, man"
nathan: "I did? I did" (dropped the gun) "i-i think I'm gonna pass out after this"
Lilly: "stay still nathan lemme check"
as Lilly checked for nathan, I looked at the battle between those cores with jame and kirie, jame killed 2 cores with his sword and the third got shredded to pieces by jame two giant claws. kirie was out of the difficult situation, she used her hand to gut out a core then her blade wings cut a core in half. five cores have been killed, only one left now it was heavily damaged, jame ran to us while kirie approached and use her hand to hold the core up.
jame: "you guys alright? I can't get here in time"
(i stand up)
me: "yeah we right, nathan used the cube and saved us, and he's was kinda shocked"
jame: *relieved* "good one nathan, I can't stand losing friends, thanks for protecting the other nathan"
nathan: "it's ok, luckily I made the cube work- ouch"
Lilly: "stay still nathan lemme fix your shoulder, you guys ok jame?"
jame: "yeah we are fine, just a couple of stab wounds"
kirie comes to us, her hand holding that core now limbless.
kirielane: "i got the signal chip from this piece of scrap, it looks like what I thought, a dead-god organization, they aimed for jame and wanted him dead instead of keeping him"
me: "why tho?"
kirielane: "I don't know, I can only find this information"
she pulled her sharp fingers out of the core head and then crushed it with her other hand, and she threw it away.
me: "we need more information, any ideas?"
Lilly: "done. for now, we need to hide or something, I feel worried when you and nathan, you know"
me: *sigh* "yeah we have to go"
nathan stands up: "the car was destroyed, what are we used to going now?"
i looked at the mess that jame and kirie made, behind those dead bodies, another wave of people armed with weapons headed at us.
me: "we have to go now, they are coming"
jame: "oh I know"
jame turned into cube form and then flew toward a broken military armored car, he turned himself into lines of steel, and it strike the car and rebuilt it into normal. I'm kinda surprised that he can do that. now it is not the time, kirie told everyone to get on, jame is nowhere to see, a tablet on the car started up and it showed a face, it jame, he reassembled him with the military car.
jame in the car, he speaks with an AI tone: [ready to go?]
me: "just go they're getting close"
jame: [full speed]
the car went on full speed and fled away from those mercenaries, it driving by jame. kirie and two others sitting tight just incased, nathan holding his gun, Lilly looking behind, and kirie in the front seat, holding an emp launcher.
me: "jame how do I use this cube"
jame: [tap it then imagine what weapon you want]
I did what jame told me, and the cube turned into a level 7 weapon, G-60 tracking rounds. "holy sh*t it work" I said in surprise, this is my first time holding a gun.
me: "first time hehe"
kirielane: "have a tight grip, control your breathing, and then shoot if you had to"
I looked at this gun then.
Lilly: "they are gaining on us"
nathan: "crap I can't kill someone, I'm just 16 I can't"
kirielane: "live and dead situations. listen they're trying to kill us, you want to live? you must fight back, no matter what are you, a boy or a man, you need to stand up" (loading high-ex lethal emp rounds) "other mentions. just think it just like playing video games"
she open the top cap of the car and stick out, she aim her launcher at those people and fired. the explosion went up destroying those vehicles, nathan having a rough thought then he turned his weapon into a pulse AR-90, he opens a back window stick the gun out, he fired helping kirie, "YAHHHHHHH" he scream up with the gun firing, nathan and kirie holding the distance between us and those mercenaries. Lilly told me don't and told me to get in the front seat just in case, she stay behind to help kirie and nathan.
me: "okay driver seat, woo ehh" I hold the steering wheel.
jame: [don't worry I'll help you :)]
those mercenaries return fire, and bullets rain flies from them, our car got shot but somehow still able to work just fine. nathan trying his best to use the gun to help kirie while she's just going on blasting the emp launcher. I'm steering the car to doge some missiles coming at us, with help from jame I can be helpful, lilly she's holding Nathan's body, not letting him fall down just in case. driving is already hard, but when you have to doge projectiles is another other story, those people sending armed core to hunt us down, some of them got on the car but were quickly shoved down by kirie, and some were in front of the car, so jame suggested me to use my gun. I pulled the gun out and tried to land a shot while on one arm, five shots landed in the head of those cores, the bullets have to be missed but this gun literary has aimbot. first time killing cores, my hand was very shaky, and I am having trouble breathing, Lilly told me to calm down and jame told me that I'm doing great.
A few minutes passed and those mercenaries still chasing us, we are passing sector-07. the gunshots and the explosions really getting worse. nathan and kirie still shooting, Lilly is healing kirie as she got shot a few times, nathan luckily doesn't, and I and jame are getting out of this situation.
though everything is getting worse, those mercenaries retreated, they stopped attacking us.
nathan: "they are retreating! we got away!"
me, Lilly, and jame: "yes!"
kirielane: "enemies retreating. weird, why are they suddenly retreating? stay alert everyone"

kirie looking while sticking out on top of the car, nathan and Lilly are eating something while Jame helping me drive. suddenly a sound from the sky goes up, laser rays point down at the ground.
kirielane: "unusual detected. watch out for our six"
I and everyone looked back and saw the laser rays pointing at the ground, I started up the car and drive away, jame who was now in his normal form sitting on the right seat.
jame: "uuh that ain't good" [large energy detected]
kirielane: "it from the sky-"
right after she said that a thing dropped down from right where the laser rays pointing at. a large mech showed up, it stand up, pulled out its big guns, and then charged at us with high speed, it used the booster from its legs and on its body to slide on the ground like sliding on ice. I stepped on the gas at full speed, kirie pulled out her launcher, and summoned 4 other guns to shoot at it, the mech have a name on its chest, HAC-847, what is that?
me: "HOLY JESUS WHAT IS THAT"
kirielane: "heavily armored core, it a core but it was made for controlling a nation. don't let it get us, jame make the car goes faster!"
jame: "yessir!"
jame fused his arm with the car and made it goes faster than before, 240km/h, with this speed we might get to sector 24 in no time, but we need to get out of this situation somehow.
the mech core is shooting at us with its giant guns while trying to catch us, kirie fires all her weapons, and nathan also help her, Lilly is making sure two of them don't get hurt, I'm driving the car like crazy while dogging the mech.

the mech core sudden fly up, it dash far forward us, and continued to slide with its booster, it put away a gun on the right arm then its right arm changed into a thing.... a powerful plasma sword, it raised that arm up and dive directly at us.
Lilly: "Watch out!!!!"
me: "Everybody gets down!"
we stick our bodies down, but kirie still sticking out on the top shooting the mech. it charged at us and swing the blade cutting half top of the car. kirie she can't get down on time, her body was cut in half, and fell down on the seat.
Lilly: "AAAAHHH!"
jame: "SH*T"
nathan like he was about to puke, and I saw a half of her body got completely cut in half, she was bleeding out a dark liquid which jame and her called D-blood. she was still alive somehow, and from the wound, we see that she have internal organ but they were more like a core+human inside parts combine together.
kirielane: "heavily damaged. I'm fine, just need to stay dow-" (she passed out)
Lilly: "let me handle this, probably. guys do something"
the top of the car was cut off by that giant mech core, and it continue shooting and blasting. "AAAAH" me and Lilly scream out in fear while nathan tried to shoot it, I drifted the car side to side, dodging all the projectiles coming at us. the mech core charged up and tried to slice the car, but jame use his big claws and we doge the hit, it still pursuing us, jame almost got hit by a laser shot, Lilly was trying to keep him alive, and healing kirie with her medical ability, me and jame just trying to get us going fast.

jame suddenly draw his arms back which made the car lose speed.
me: "jame what are you doing!"
jame: "just the thing I do best"
he jumped out of the speeding car and flew toward the mech core. "JAAAMMEE" I scream out to call him, his arms turned into blade claws, and two swords like before appear on his arms, his halo, the big claws turned into four big cubes.
jame: "time to be an afraid machine, HAHAHAHA"
the mech core see him and targeted him, it swing its giant arm but missed, jame stabbed it in the eyes with his swords and the cubes around him released a super beam directly at its body and weapons. the mech punched jame down, and he slide along at the same speed as the mech, then the mech shoot out a laser beam directly at jame and it hit. just though jame was toasted, it only burned the human form of him, beneath that human form is a deadly AI shape, his arms were like an endo skeleton with sharp fingers, and his body was like the one I met him, his face now a core face, and he gave a big GRIN at the mech, the mech use it big plasma blade to attack him but suddenly got stopped when it nearly hit him.

the blade of the mech was flung away, jame levitate up and raised his arm, and the mech suddenly floats up with him, jame move his hand and the mech was frozen still than every part of it started to get crushed, falling out of it body until only the torso with the chest cover been ripped out, jame looked directly at it core and hold his hand then moved back. the core of the mech was pulled out of its body.

jame crushed the core with an invisible force then he pulled out all the dark liquid from it and float toward us. he landed on the seat, and we looked at him with amazement.
me: "woah dude, how the"
jame regenerate his human form again, and the clothes return to normal along with the hat: "powers stuff, lemme see ah kirie, I'll help you with the core blood"
kirie now she has woke up and still half her body: "yeah thank"
jame give her the bottle with the liquid from the mech core to kirie, she drank it and somehow slowly regenerate her bottom part to a normal state.
kirie: "how in the..."
nathan: "I am really confused about this thing, is this the D-blood you two talking about?"
kirielane: "yes it can help me fix myself, only for me and jame if you may ask"
me: "cool a core blood that has a superpower. seems logic enough".
Jame fixed the car.
jame: "the car is normal again, I fixed all the damage"
kirielane stands up: "then we off again before they get to us"
me: "yeah let's go guys"
I hop in the car and continue heading to sector 24.
