NIGHT FLIGHT
Our group of friends is in the helicopter jame built, flying over the blocks as the sun goes down, in the helicopter me, Lilly and nathan are sitting in the back seat watching movies on our phones, the signal is kinda bad on air, jame, and kirie is in the pilot's seat driving. we flew well like this thanks to the sacrifice of gaves, even though we only met him for a few minutes, he helped us a lot, we didn't expect anyone to go soo fast, especially kirie, she know this will happen, she said that "in a war a lot of people go very fast, like how I and jame did to those guys", maybe she's right.
the night is starting to fall, everything is getting slower, and our helicopter is going to arrive soon.

after that, nathan and I have dinner in the sky, and the rest of us just do what they're doing, Lilly fuelling her core, kirie, and jame driving this metal bird. looking down from above, I see the city of sector 24 is very bright and full of life compared to what they said 30 years ago, however, I still wonder why no side has won after the war. anyway, I'm living the best days of my life, jame and his mystery and the fact that he is an AI weapon with human consciousness, the same as a core but human look and appearance, he is just an insane guy, murderous cold-blooded personality, but he still has feelings for us, what a wholesome and dangerous guy.
why do I have a weird feeling inside of me?.. my eyes hurt a bit, "hey Lilly can I borrow your hand mirror" I asked Lilly for a mirror to see my eyes, and she agree and give it to me. I brought the mirror to my face and looked into my own eyes, my eyes were still a purplish brown iris, I used my right hand to open my right eye wide, looking closely at it. in the depths of my iris, there is a small red dot that looks like it's glowing, looks like... a... core.... the mirror suddenly cracked and broke, I dropped it on the floor of the helicopter, shattered.
nathan: "you okay?" nathan asked me with his puzzled look. Lilly saw me and two of them waited for my answer.
me: "I'm fine, it was strange that the mirror suddenly broke. jame, kirie you two do it?" I asked the two in confusion. the two of them looked back.
jame: "do what exactly?" jame said in confusion like me. kirie she still emotionless and probably she didn't do it too, cuz she doesn't like to do this kind of stuff.
me: "did you break the mirror by using your power jame?"
jame: "I was driving the heli, kirie?" ( :/ )
kirielane: "no, I do nothing except stay here and help jame" she talks in a very emo tone, guess she didn't do it.
me: "huh that's weird" I looked at the broken mirror, others just went back to what they were doing.
a strange thought going through my head, does this come from another source? or it was coming from me... I took out my phone and watch some cat videos to ignore the thing just happened.

kirie looks at me with a considering eye, she then turns around ahead, and she talks with jame using mind connection.
kirie: [jame... Are you sure clare is okay?, Are you sure she didn't have any contact with any D-blood?]
jame is quite shocked after hearing that, he tried to calm is thoughts: [i know she didn't, but I'm not soo sure, does she? if do then she might get out alive with this. i- I don't know just help me!] he turns his head to look at kirie, faces full of hope.
kirielane: [alright, since you can scan human cells, I suggest you do it to her, do it now, better than late. I'll handle the helicopter]
jame: [alright... here go nothing].
jame look back behind, he use his scanning system to scan me.
[scanning... clare deammer, human, organic cells, internal organs, blood, muscle, bones, brain.....]

jame shocked by the thing he scanned, then turns to nathan, and the result is like mine. jame then panic in silence, he tried to calm himself but ca- @)()*@!ND@)91-

jame: "kirie take the wheel" jame get out of the driver's seat in hurry, and kirie took over control of the helicopter while jame get to our seats. he look worried, he was clenching his teeth, then he came over to me, grabbed my arms, and created a small pointy needle shape, it floated straight to the center of my forehead.
I was scared about what he was about to do: "ja- jame what are you doing?" my voice quite shaky, I asked jame what he was doing.
jame: "stay still if you don't want to die" after he said that I was shocked, what did I do? what's going on?
Lilly and nathan are confused, yet scared like me "jame what are you going to do?" Lilly asked, jame don't pay attention to her, and he make the needle slightly stab on my forehead, it was painful but he stopped and then released my arms to take the needle, he was no longer on me and sat to the side holding the needle. Jame's right hand made a small hole and then he inserted the needle in.
I got up, confused, and looked at jame: "what the hell jame? you made my head bleed" Lilly quickly uses her healing ability to heal the wound, both nathan and Lilly are confused about what jame just did. jame kept silent, focused on something, his eyes now like a computer screen running a series of numbers, analyzing. I look over to kirie, she's still the same, then back to the other two, lilly and nathan shook their heads in confusion.
after a brief silence just for the sound of the helicopter blades whirring across the night sky, Jame's eyes returned to their original state, with a red X in the irises of his eyes. now he looks scared and then looks me straight in the eyes.
me: "jame? what's wrong," I said in a confused voice, waiting for jame answer. he hesitated for a moment then took a deep breath.
jame: "clare... I don't want to freak you out but..." he then stopped for a moment then continue in his worry voice "you have been infected with D-blood..."
me: "what? i don't get it"
jame then took a deep breath then continue
jame: "as you all know, D-blood is a type of blood for me and kirie only, some kind of core don't have this, and I haven't told you guys about when D-blood got into the human body"
me: "wait what?" I starting to get panic
jame: "if D-blood got into a human cell through direct contact or bio contact, it will restructure the biological cells, slowly turning the organism into a life form like... like"
kirielane: "me" kirie interrupts jame to speak for him, "D-blood will turn you into one of the subjects like me. very sorry"

a small metal red triangle sticker form out of nowhere on jame right hand, he hold it up to me and said "this looks like just an ordinary sticker but this thing will protect your heart from D-blood get to it, it will create a shield to stop the D-blood assimilating your heart"
me: "well... it stop the infection?..." I asked him in a small prayer, my voice trembling, with fear.
jame: "I want that too but it only temporarily prevents D-blood from assimilating further and slows it down" he took a deep breath and continues "it's only a matter of time before it reaches your heart, and speeds up the process..."
i was shocked after hearing that, it aimed for my heart?.... oh... I see, kirie she had that core inside her chest that looked like a heart, I get it... I shake my head around, "kirie do you know what will happen if it reaches my heart?" I asked kirie, she is one of the people who got infected, she must know.
kirielane: "yeah. if it reached your heart, it will reconstruct the heart and then turn it into a heart core, after finishing, you will die..."
me: "i... will... die?" my voice trembling in fear and shock, I couldn't... I can't...
after what I said kirie continue: "after you die, the core will bring you back, there's only 45% it will succeed, if not, you just stay there, lifeless. but if it succeeds, you will be just like me, a human combined with almost the power of a deathcore like jame" she made a creepy smile at me.
me: "i...." fearful, worried, and dying...

jame then stick the sticker behind my back, I have to take off my jacket and shirt. the sticker after it stuck on me, right where the heart is, I can feel forces around my heart. i put my clothes back and lay down, thinking in worry.
lilly and nathan help me to cheer up, they said jame will figure out a way to help me, jame agree with that, he said after he gets the last memo file back, he can find a way to use the 3 files combine and create something to get rid of that D-blood inside me. i believe him, trusted him, I don't want to end up like kirie... save me... jame... :<
the helicopter flight through the night sky, stars and moon light shining through the sky, the sounds made me dizzy, and I feels sleepy. I close my eyes to rest after all these things, Lilly and nathan are worried about me as I can hear them talking about me, jame looked back at me with his worried eyes, kirie she seems emotionless but i can tell she's trying her best to help jame to help me..
