A Festival to Remember

"Don't worry I'm not doing something weird!"

"Okay," Su Hu replied, trusting him completely.

He felt cold knuckles ghost across his skin as a new robe was pulled over his shoulders, the material a bit rougher than what he usually wore, but surprisingly comfortable. He wondered why Ren Ling was dressing him again. Dutifully and despite his curiosity, he kept his eyes closed even though the other had surprised him by going in a completely different direction than expected.

Su Hu felt shameful for feeling disappointed.

He was left in the dark, letting the other expertly tug and pull on knots and sashes and robes. Left to marvel at the strangeness of the situation, he heard the quiet footfall of Ren Ling's boots as the man stepped back, letting out an affirmative hum, and immediately after tugged Su Hu down by his table.
