Calvina

The next day at the office I sat in my chair drinking my coffee when Lisa brought me some files to sign. I took them,read through before signing. I looked at Lisa and she was frowning.

Calvina: What is it Lisa?

Lisa: Its Lucy. She's been distant. What happened in my absence?

Calvina: Well. I got married for starts and Lucy had a liking to one of my friends. It didn't go as planned.

Lisa: Oh. Now I get it. I have to get some sense into that head of hers.

Calvina: But is she alright?

Lisa: No. She's awful. I mean really awful. When I met her she was crying and apologising.

Calvina: She cried?

Lisa: Funny right? I just want her to be happy. And I see she was happy with your friend.

Calvina: Marcel almost died last night. She was screaming at me the entire night.

Lisa: I get it. Don't worry about them. They'll work it out.

As soon as she said this Marcel came barging into my office and giving Lisa a hug.

Marcel: I thought you left me sweetheart.

Lisa: Excuse me? Let go of me. Are you mad?

Marcel: No I'm not leaving you again. I love you too much to loose you.

Lisa: I don't know you. Who the hell are you?

Calvina: Marcel let go.

Marcel: No. Cal I'm not leaving her. She's not leaving me ever.

Calvina: She's not Lucy you big baby.

I got up and yanked Lisa from her tight grip. Marcel looked at me confused for a moment lost in thought.

Lisa: You ruined my hair. Are you an animal?

Marcel: How's she not Lucy?

Calvina: Lisa meet Marcel, Marcel meet Lisa. Lucy's twin.

Marcel: Twin?! She never told me she has a twin

Lucy: Of course she won't you buffoon. How does she know Lucy?

Calvina: They were dating. Things didn't go well.

Lisa: You crazy asshole. You made my sister cry.

Lisa was about to jump on Marcel but I held her back.

Calvina: Calm down Lisa. She didn't mean any harm.

Lisa: Yeah by making her cry. What did you do to her?

Marcel: I did nothing. She left me after an amazing date together.

Lisa: I wouldn't call that amazing you idiot. She wouldn't be crying her eyes out like a lunatic.

Calvina: Can you guys quit it?! It was a mistake okay. The damage has already been done all that's left is how you're going to make it up to her.

Marcel: Lisa look I know you and I are not on good terms but please I need Lucy's address. I want to talk to her and find out what I did wrong.

Lisa: I don't like you. But I can see she has some feelings for you. I'll consider you for her sake.

Calvina: Now was that hard? Now the both of you should get out of my office now. I have work to do.

I sent all of them out of my office and I sat behind my desk and started with my business of the day.

Xavier

Xavier: Brad I'm telling you she gives me the creeps.

Brad: She gives us all the creeps Xavier. What happened?

Xavier: Okay I tried flirting with Cal as you guys said then she shows up with this smile and.....thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

Harry: So how are you doing there. You know alone and with Calvina.

Xavier: She is busy with Marcel. Turns out Marcel started dating her secretary Lucy. It became messy so she's trying to fix it.

Harry: Oh right. I've seen them a couple of times getting freaky in the house.

Brad: Really Harry. My ears are still virgins you know.

Harry: Says the one who hears the moans of his lover every night.

Xavier: Okay you guys stop it. We're talking about my issue not about your sexual encounters.

Brad: Says the one who can't even get one lady in his bed.

Xavier: You alright now Brad?

Harry: He's sure is. Anyway I'm going to pick Rose up for dinner.

Xavier: Yes finally. Who proposed first?

Harry: Erm...she did?

Brad: Pay up Xavier. I win.

Harry: You guys bet on me?

Xavier: Yes. Thousand dollars to be precise.

Harry: You bet a thousand dollars on me? I'm honoured to have foolish friends like you.

Brad: And we love you too. I also have to get back to my Andrew. Today's his ex husband's birthday.

Xavier: Aiden?

Brad: I have to go. We haven't even gone to visit him after the funeral.

Xavier: Yeah. I haven't heard from Adrian too. I sure hope they're okay.

Brad: So see you later and try not to die okay?

They all left my office and I was left alone in this annoying silence. I wondered how my life came to this. The only thing I know I did was loving the wrong girl. I'm such an idiot to think everything would go according to plan. We fall in love and have kids and grow old together but whom I'm I kidding? Her heart is still with James. The day she called me James made everything clear to me. She didn't get over him. I sighed and looked out my window and saw someone by the coffee shop. I looked carefully and saw James first love and super star Ella Wilson. And she was with a kid. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I picked it up and saw a message from Caroline. It was a picture of Ella and her family. Under it was written 'You have two days to stay away from my Calvina else say goodbye to your lovely niece and her family.'

I dropped my phone on the ground shocked at the revelation. Ella was pregnant for James? I thought they broke up. I picked up my phone and called Brad

Xavier: Brad we have a problem.

Brad: Why? What's wrong?

Xavier: James has a daughter.

Brad: No its impossible. Andy??? Andy hold on. Xavier I'll call you back.
