Chapter 4 [Elementary Days (pt.1)]

//Previously: In summary, Chibana and Enatsu ended up going to the same school as Emiko, and if not "better," same class.//

"Shimizu-san! Should we go eat lunch together?"

"Those words are pretty sweet of you, Enatsu. Especially after fighting some boys, even the pretty handsome ones."

"Shut up, Chibi! Those nasty creatures had the AUDACITY to LOOK at THE Shimizu-san!"

"That is a good reason but did you forget that Shimizu-san don't like violence?"

Emiko's POV: Chibana...I'm surprised you still remember that but...I'm not sure of how to feel on the "good reason" part...

"Um...gomenasai, Shimizu-san."

(Gomenasai= I'm sorry)

"It's okay, Enatsu-san. Just please control yourself."

"Of course!"

Enatsu's POV: Shimizu-san...a goddess! Such a kind and pure soul!

"Plus, I'm not who you should be apologizing to..."

As if on cue, a group of boys with bruises and messy hair came on screen. They met Enatsu's eyes and shivered with fear.

Emiko's POV: Enatsu...just what in the world did you do?

Emiko gestured the troublesome girl to the victimized boys.

"B-But Shimizu-san! They deserved it!"

The dear goddess gave a disappointed expression, pressuring the blackette.

"E-er, b-b-but, ugh, fine...you're really beautiful both outside and inside, Shimizu-san..."

Then the delinquent-like missy went up to the boys, leaving the complimented but confused Emiko. Everything seemed to be going well, until the oh-so-innocent seeming Enatsu turned around and revealed her devilish, maroon eyes. As she walked away, half of the apologized group fainted when the rest began sobbing with tears.

"I apologized, Shimizu-san! I'm amazing, right?"

"...let's just go. We need to eat lunch."

"Huh? Shimizu-san? Did I do something wrong? Chibi? What's with that face?!? Hey! Wait for me!"

The trio retrieved their bentos and munched on the delicious meals. Just another peaceful day in 1st grade :)
