I took my hands from him and went to the kitchen. Too afraid to see me crack. “Is it so bad to love me?” 


“Yes, Drayce. It’s bad because we’re no longer together and you’re engaged. It isn’t fair watching you happy with her.” I can hear his footsteps coming towards me when I stop him. “Please don’t. You know that we should stand by our choices.”
