Misunderstanding

Chapter 011 Misunderstanding

''Anindira!''

Halvir immediately darted to grab Anindira's arm, who almost slipped because she suddenly panicked in fear.

''What's wrong with you!'' Halvir shouted, ''Be careful!''

Halvir rebukes Anindira while hugging Anindira's body tightly in his arms.

Anindira's body trembled in Halvir's arms because she herself was also shocked when she almost fell from a height of tens of meters.

''L-let-let-go-of... m-me!'' Anindira shouted while pushing Halvir with all her might.

Of course, Halvir did not budge at all when pushed by a petite girl like Anindira.

''Let go of me...'' Anindira begged in a trembling voice while struggling to get out of Halvir's arms.

Halvir did not know what happened, but he could clearly feel Anindira's trembling body in his arms. Even Anindira, who clenched her jaw because of Halvir's emotions, knew it. But, because of his ignorance, he hugged Anindira even tighter.

Hik Hik Hik

Unable to fight Halvir, Anindira finally cried.

Still in his arms.

Not knowing how to talk to Anindira. Halvir stroked Anindira's head gently and waited very patiently until he could feel that Anindira had calmed down again.

Some time later, Halvir felt that Anindira had started to calm down. Slowly he loosened his embrace.

Halvir then held both of Anindira's arms. Half kneeling, he tried to talk to Anindira, who was sobbing.

''I'm sorry...'' Halvir said softly with a sad face right in front of Anindira's face, ''I don't know what made you react like that... But at least think about your safety, no matter how angry you are.''

Slowly and very gently, Halvir's rough fingers wiped away the remaining tears on Anindira's face.

Still with the fast rhythm of Anindira's heartbeat, she could not help but stare at the blue sapphire eyes that were only less than twenty centimeters in front of her.

Slowly the restless feeling in Anindira's heart began to subside. The sincere concern from Halvir's gaze was conveyed to the depths of Anindira's heart.

''Why are you taking off your clothes?'' Anindira asked in a hoarse voice.

Halvir tilted his head in response to Anindira's question with a questioning expression.

''What do you want to do by taking off your clothes?''

Anindira asked again, still in a hoarse voice.

Just like before, Halvir still showed a confused expression, not understanding how to respond to Anindira.

''You really won't do anything bad to me, right?!"

Halvir was still silent, but he kept staring at Anindira. He was seriously paying attention to anything that could be a clue for him to understand what she was saying.

Unfortunately, it wasn't just the language barrier that was an obstacle, but the ethics and culture of the norms that applied between the two of them were also a problem. Both Halvir and Anindira, both of them couldn't understand each other's behavior at that time.

''This world is a completely foreign world to me. I'm alone here... besides Kak Halvir, I have no one to depend on. So I beg you, Kak Halvir, please don't ruin my judgment of you, or I'll find it hard to trust anyone again!''

Huhuhu...

Anindira cried again, unable to hold back the emotions in her heart.

Halvir's eyes widened when he saw Anindira crying again. His heart ached, holding back tears. The weight of the stone that was blocking his heart was seeing how sad the girl who had anchored his soul was. Even his tears felt like they wanted to break out.

''I'm so confused now!''

Halvir's hand was still holding Anindira's arm tightly. His head was still level with Anindira's. But this time he looked down, showing how frustrated he was now.

''How long are we going to continue like this?!'' Halvir complained, still with his head down and his hand holding Anindira's arm, ''You are mine. But, somehow, I still feel uncomfortable with that... Previously I was very confident because I was *Saphire. But, facing you... it all became useless. What should I do... what do you really want?!''

Anindira, who initially felt angry and also panicked with fear. This time she actually felt sorry seeing how depressed the big man with a muscular body with scars across several parts of his body was.

''Kak Halvir, are you crying?''

Anindira seriously asked Halvir. Slowly, both of her palms cupped Halvir's cheeks. Lifting Halvir's face up, it showed his expression that looked like he was about to cry.

''It turns out not...'' Anindira said half jokingly, because she was surprised to see Halvir's expression, which was very different from what she usually knew.

''Are you calm now?'' Halvir asked carefully.

''I don't understand...'' Anindira answered, shaking her head in response to Halvir, ''Even so, it seems I shouldn't have be afraid because you won't do anything bad to me...'' Anindira added then paused her words a little, ''I guess.''

''You won't do something that will endanger yourself again, right?!"

''I told you I don't know what you're saying. But, this situation...'' Anindira's words stopped with her face turning red, ''Strange!''

Halvir frowned at seeing Anindira's behavior, but he felt calm enough because he felt that Anindira was no longer panicking with fear.

''Actually, what do you want to do by taking off your clothes?!'' Anindira asked in an annoyed tone, but she was sure that her suspicions were wrong, ''I, the only daughter in my family, but that doesn't mean seeing a man's vulgar appearance won't make me confused... this is embarrassing...''

Anindira complained while trying her best to avoid Halvir's lower body.

''Sleep!'' Anindira then screamed even though most of her reasons were to avoid the awkward atmosphere, ''You should sleep. I'm so tired.''

''Kak Halvir, let's just sleep... Heup!'' Aninidra immediately covered her mouth, she was surprised by her own words.

''Darn!!!'' Anindira screamed in her heart, ''I just got free from that strange problem... why did I seem to invite him to do something...'' Anindira stopped her strange muttering because she felt embarrassed.

''Huwah, never mind!'' Aninidra shouted, then vented her annoyance.

''Anindira!''

Halvir was surprised by Anindira, who suddenly shouted, but he didn't panic because he felt there was nothing to worry about from Anindira's behavior now.

Very carefully, Halvir took Anindira to sit back. Halvir sat Anindira right in front of him.

''Calm down!'' Halvir shouted softly while still hugging Anindira, ''You'll freeze to death if you move away from me.''

Anindira felt uncomfortable, but she tried to stay calm and patient so that the incident earlier would not happen again.

''Calm down Dira, calm down!'' Anindira screamed in her heart with a red face, ''That's what I want. But how?!... In my butt... I can feel it. It's a man thing... sitting on my lap with a naked guy. It's strange not to be nervous!''

''Anindira, our journey is still very far. You have to rest a lot so you don't get sick...'' Halvir said without knowing what the girl in his arms was thinking.

Anindira had just calmed herself down from the strange feeling when Halvir's voice vibrated in the nape of her neck. A few moments later the incident earlier that Anindira had forgotten was reenacted.

Only. This time, it was the other way around.

The human, Halvir, is transformed into a large black Jaguar.

And, of course, Anindira was shocked again.

Anindira's shock had reached the threshold that she could accept. No longer able to complain about her body and soul, which were already exhausted. Finally, she had to give up on the situation.

Anindira fell asleep on the soft and warm body of the jaguar, Halvir. Halvir's clothes, which only covered the lower part of his body, became a comfortable blanket for the petite Anindira.
