Redemption day

The night sky flared up in brilliant colours as fireworks exploded over head to mark the day of redemption. An annual celebration that commemorated the decisive moment when the thunder nation, a highly sophisticated African society emerged through development of advanced science. Most notable among the defining moments of the era was the innovation of the museve class starship, whose domination of the sky had proved crucial in delivering the birth of the thunder nation in in the decisive aerial combat.

Takunda touched the left hand side sensor of his Media Boss visor , a multi-media platform giving the user access to advanced audio, visual and holographic content for an enhanced enjoyable sensory s timulation. The hologram of the scene from the stadium which he had been watching laying in bed inst antly disappeared. A notification of a holographic call appeared before his eyes, Takunda touched th e visor’s sensor on the right side of the visor and a hologram of his girlfriend Maidei popped up, s he smiled as she danced suggestively to a catchy track playing in the background, moving her hands over the curves of her body.

A message appeared be her feet, can you, “can you handle this Mr Madyei?”

“0h yes you know I can Miss Juru”, Takunda smiled replying more to himself”.

Another message popped up below Maidei’s feet, as her holograph kept dancing to the music to the beautiful music playing in the background, ’I l just wanted to give you a heads-up on the wild side of the future Mrs Madyei, ahead of our marriage so you won’t get shocked, Mr Madyei”.

“l will try to control myself” Takunda to himself. Maidei blew Takunda a kiss and the hologram together with the music vanished.

A notification popped up before Takunda’s ended .

Takunda removed the visor, placed it on top of his bed’s headboard drawers and promptly fell asleep.
