Son Goku (2)

Yonbi realized something was wrong immediately when Natsume grabbed the tailed beast bomb. He attempted to cut off the chakra and detonate it, but that was slower than the space-time dojutsu. The ball only moved a few feet, but even that put heavy strain on Natsume's eye. The density of the chakra made it the most difficult thing she had attempted to move with her power.

In an instant, the arm holding the ball was sliced off by a lava blade. Yonbi held his hand up like a knife and lava converged into a fine edge. He sliced the arm in hopes of stopping whatever she planned, but it was already too late. The ball accelerated and vanished before reappearing inside Yonbi's mouth. With her remaining Susanoo arm, Natsume palm thrusted Yonbi's chin and slammed his mouth closed.

Not far away, Enma saw what she had done and moved into action. "Transformation!" He turned into a weaker version of the Adamantine Staff and extended forward, slamming the top of Yonbi's head. With the two holding his mouth closed, the bomb eventually detonated inside his body. The force of the explosion caused his torso to expand rapidly, before settling back down.

Due to the severe drain on his chakra from forming the bomb and then taking the full force of it, his body became emaciated. Natsume saw this as her opportunity and leaned forward with Susanoo. She floated over to the edge of her white flames and touched Yonbi's glabella while looking into his eyes that were still showing the Sharingan pattern. The world around her changed suddenly and she found herself standing in a large pool of water.

It flowed from the center, which was surrounded in stone ruins. Sitting on top of the water was a the giant Yonbi who was in some sort of trance. Natsume looked up into the sky of the mental realm and saw a massive eye staring down at the Yonbi. It released a constant pressure on the tailed beast, trapping him inside his own mind. She didn't know how to break it, so she approached the tailed beast instead.

Yonbi didn't notice her presence at all despite her walking right up to him. She walked around him to meet him face to face and saw that he held his head with his eyes closed. Natsume opened her mouth and paused for a second. She seemed to remember Yonbi did not like being referred to as such. Well, she already knew what his name was so there was no harm in using it. "Son Goku, can you hear me?" However, there was no response.

Natsume rubbed her chin and tried again. "Sage Monkey King Son Goku!" Still no response. She suddenly recalled the plaque at the base of his statue and decided to suppress her shame. "Hand…some King of the Sage Monkeys, Great Sage Equaling… Heaven, Son Goku, wake up!" She almost stuttered a few times but managed to say the whole title. Suddenly, Son Goku opened his eyes and looked around. When he finally looked down and saw Natsume he frowned.

"Human… those damnable eyes… how dare you come here!" His anger boiled, which was reflected onto the surface of the flowing water. It began to boil and fill the space with steam. Natsume didn't budge and toughed it out.

"Great Sage, I apologize for the actions of my ancestors." She did a ninety degree bow and left herself vulnerable to attacks. Since she was invading his mental realm, it could be disastrous for her if he forced her out. Natsume knew that Son Goku values honor and would not fight an unarmed opponent. Although she was taking advantage of that knowledge, she was also genuinely apologizing to him. It was one thing to believe what everyone else believed about the tailed beasts just being weapons. However, Natsume knew the truth of the tailed beasts.

Son Goku calmed down and looked at her carefully. After a moment, he threw a fist out toward Natsume. She felt the oncoming fist but did not dodge. Instead of hitting her, it stopped a foot from her face. She looked up and understood his intentions. She tapped her fist to his and received a flash of memory and emotion. Anger, frustration, and sadness fluctuated within her mind as she watched a scene unfold.

While being pursued by shinobi to be captured, a man appeared and blocked some of the pursuers, giving Son Goku a chance to escape. Through various encounters later, the two ended up bonding. Eventually, the man wished to learn about sages, and Son Goku offered to bring him to Mount Kakazan. Everything was fine at first, then one day he was caught destroying tomes and ancient scrolls. Feeling the evil within the human, the elders tried to drive him away.

However, when Son Goku arrived on the scene, something was triggered deep in his mind. That was when he no longer had control of his body. The man revealed his Mangekyou Sharingan and rode Son Goku like a mount, even equipping him with a complete Susanoo. An intense battle broke out, and ultimately everyone on the peak died. The elders sacrificed the last of their lives to seal Son Goku away and banish the man to another plane altogether. Before he vanished, a black creature slipped out of his body and left the mountain.

At the same time, Natsume's memories of the last year on the mountain were shown to Son Goku. The moment ended and he looked at her with a lighter expression. However, his walls could not be taken down by just anyone, especially not another Uchiha. But at the very least, he was no longer hostile to her. Feeling her intention was to free him, he looked up at the disgusting eye that represented his warden for the last century.

"How do you break it?" He asked. Natsume looked up at the eye and frowned. She wasn't sure what to do either. She forced both of her eyes open despite the pain and tried to analyze the structure of the genjutsu. After studying it for a while, she tried to break it with her own dojutsu power, which caused a small fluctuation in the eye. Seeing this, Natsume had an idea.

"Throw me."
