2nd Chapter

Finnja:

Nervously, I tried to get a clear thought and focus on what my friend Sandy was saying until she realized I wasn't listening to her and all of a sudden she started waving her hands around in front of my face. Out of nowhere I felt a hand slapping my face. My best friend slapped me and the school year hasn't even started yet. My motivation couldn't be higher on the wonderful 8th grade. Fidgeting, I looked around the classroom.

There are 29 of us kids, so we have a pretty big room. With my seat, right in the middle, I had full view of every single classmate. I already knew the girls from sports and I am not thrilled to have these bitches in my class community. The boys all seem boring. I already knew the class clowns from 7th grade and Jannik seems like he is arrogant and egotistical even though he is good looking. This is the kind of boy no girl can use. His seat partner is rather reserved, but the only good looking one of the guys, in my opinion.

Still, I have no interest in guys and all that unnecessary relationship stuff at the moment. I guess this is going to be a boring school year full of uninteresting events.

In contrast to me, a lot of things are happening with my best friends Jessica. And I can't keep up with her anymore. She's got her eye on this Jannik guy. I can't quite understand certain things about his character yet, but I don't really have an opinion about him yet. I'm afraid that she's too deceived by him and I hope it's not the case. I have a lot to change this year and hope for surprises and twists. Whether the whole thing is worth it, we will see in the end.
