Chapter 137: Taking Quest in Mantah City

My companion and I decided to explore the city for a little. We even visit the temple of this place where they worship the God of the Sun and the Goddess of the River. If this is my previous life, I will think of them as… fiction, you know? As an entity that did not exist and only exists in the mind of the believer.

However, after being given a second chance by an unknown entity or god, I'm now a believer that gods exist. Just like the rest of my family, I'm a worshiper of Goddess Alena, but I'm open-minded to other religions and will not disrespect them. That is just moronic behavior.

Anyway, we pay our respect and even donate some gold to the temple. The priest and nun are kind enough to show us around and even give us some of the fruit they grow on the back of their temple to be sold and use the money to maintain the temple.

I really like oranges from this place. They are sweet, sweeter than the ones in the Southern Continent.
