To be put down

"Ah! How many years has it been Halley?" Endora's voice sounded sweet and lovely in contrast to the situation.

Endora and her troupe of dark witches stood outside the border line, while Halley and the other witches stood on the other, the atmosphere tense and deadly, a thick suffocating mist surrounded the area as both sides glared at each other.

"Now..... now, don't glower it doesn't suit you but I want you to tell me something, an illusion such as this is supposed to hide you from who? I mean you come all the way from the woods with canopy leaves and all that just to stumble upon a beautiful grassland? Even A stupid human would know something is up."

"Why are you here Endora?" Halley was pissed, she was trying her best to control herself.

"Is that how you welcome a friend?, Witches" Endora calls out, arms in the air, she turns around to her comrades, "Tell me isn't this injustice? On the other side stands a witch who is no different from us, someone who has tapped into.... What do they call our powers?" She acts like she was thinking, she looks at Halley in the eyes, "Darkness"

Suddenly laughter fills the tense air, the dark witches were laughing, a discrepancy to the gasps from the other side. Apparently not every one of them knew that Halley was once a dark witch.

"You're unwelcomed here Endora." Cheryl says from behind. This wasn't what anyone would hope to come back to after a long day of growls.

"You know I sensed you immediately you walked into the woods, that's power!" Endora says folding her palms in a tight fist. She straightens herself, "well.... We are back and before you say we're not welcomed here" she stretches her hand over what was supposed to be a barrier spell. "You should know that I wasn't asking" She grins widely at the reaction of Cheryl and the others, they weren't expecting that!

"So you really don't want to know why she came here?" Donald asks Emerson for the umpteenth time whilst they stood resting on the rails of the top floor.

"Nope!" Emerson answers clearly not bothered or concerned.

"What if its about the recent disagreement within the pack" He was hoping this would attract his attention. They couldn't make such a decision for him, what if he didn't want that much power, what if he didn't want to become a ....

"That's why I have you to take Care of It, I mean not all the problems but..... don't tell me anything that concerns that witch and no Donny..... don't even try to convince me,its not working" Emerson says in a way that meant, end of discussion!

"Alpha!" A built muscular man calls out. Alec Aradia, a stiff conventional man, loyal to the cause and to only one person, his Alpha. Beta of the Blue moon pack. His stoic expressionless face would make any one tremble, of course except the two Alphas in front of him. "Mick Carlton"

"Did he say why?" Emerson asks with a furrowed brow.

"No Alpha, no appointments, no calls, he just came saying its urgent." The man talks like he was programmed.

"Alright, be there." Emerson nods to the retreating man and faces Donald, "finally a distraction from you" A smile running through his face.

"But what I want to talk about also IS important" Donald emphasizes. The taunting smile on Emerson's face riling him up.

"Bye eee" Emerson wiggles his finger at him and walks off.

Donald palms his forehead, "Acting as the older brother to a punk is a mess" he says to himself.

"Heard that!" Emerson's distant voice calls out.

"Good for you" Donald yawps. He sighs.

**** The Foretold Story Of The Full Moon****

"Emerson Keller!" A man dressed in a grey shirt toppled with a black leather jacket and black tight-fitted pants. He forwards his hand to Emerson.

"Mick Carlton" Emerson grasps his hand in a hand shake. "I wonder if its being too smart or utterly stupid to come here without an invitation or maybe a....caveat?" Emerson leans to him, "do you have any idea what you're risking to come here uninvited ? Do you think your tiny guns and gadgets would save you from a pack of werewolves?"

"Well.... I do appreciate your modesty and concern but I think this time the problem might just be bigger than all of us" He says, hands behind his back, face aloof.

Seeing the man's face, Emerson knew it had to be important. He sighs and stretches his hand forward. "Take a walk with me"

"Of course" They began walking.

"Look, things are a little bit uptight right now so I can't particularly say the werewolves are in check or...."

"That's the thing, I don't think this has to do with the werewolves. Its something else and I don't know what it is, but what I do know is whatever creature is out there, it needs to be put down!" Mick's face had myriads of emotions passing through it but what stood out was the fear that even reeked out of him.
