Tonado

"How...oh goodness!" Cheryl slaps her forehead in annoyance. Those sick dark witches have just infiltrated their coven like they own it. Now every corner was filled with them all they could do right now was hope that they don't induce the other witches in their darkness.

Contrary to Cheryl's mood, Halley walks in, a bowl of soup in hand. "Come on sister, dinner, we don't want a little hungry witch" she says rubbing her sisters tommy.

Cheryl looks at her sister, "heh" she sighs, "the dark witches are here in our coven and doing whatever it is they want like they own this place and you're worried about a little hungry witch?" She was definitely flattered, "how did they even break into our barrier spell" she squints her eyes at her sister.

Halley heaves a sigh, she closes her eyes with arms stretched forward, after a while she opens her eyes, face strickened with worry. She slumps on the couch close to her.

Cheryl looks closely at her sister, she'd just put up a barrier spell now no one could watch or even hear them.

"Yes sister, I weakened both the illusion and barrier spell that surrounded the coven......, it was the best thing to do." She rests her hands on her knees, "there a lot of things I couldn't explain even if I so desire to, I just want you to trust me, sister" her eyes dart to both sides.

Cheryl opened her mouth to speak but then closed it. She sits close to her sister, "Listen Hal, maybe what you're doing is right or maybe not but right now we are risking the lives of more witches succumbing to that darkness, we are trying to make things better not make it worse" Her voice so calm one would mistake it for a whisper.

Halley turns to her sister, "If they know what the darkness can do, they'll prevent it, its not being forced on any one, you have to want it like your deepest desire so if its in their hearts to be dark witches, why stop them?"

She was right. Halley was right and Cheryl knew it. No one could be forced into darkness, if you don't want it,it can't find a way to you. She sighed defeatedly hoping in her heart that witches had enough will power to resist the darkness.

"Do tell me though, how did Emerson take it?"

"OK, I want it or...no you can't, that could probably have been his answer if he'd just stopped growling and even let me talk" She huffs

"Hmmmm.....we really need thos....."

Cheryl and Halley shot up from their seats and rush out the door and their faces fall, anger bubbling in the pit of their stomach.

The two pillars that once stood magnificently in front of their porch laid on the floor in smithereens, their porch a mess.

"What the hell?" Mason Vaz, the man of the hour, Cheryl's husband, Brother to Halley and Uncle to Marilyn, the only man in the house. He had the build of every average man, not skinny, not too huge and muscular just.....perfect with his beautiful brown skin he glistened like a pearl under the orange sky.

He walks up to Cheryl and pulls her behind him using his arms he tries to tuck his sister but she wasn't having any of it. She flings his hands off hers, her face scrunches as she begins muttering inaudible words.

Screams and wails broke through the air, Halley wasn't going to spare the culprits and then...

#thud#

The three dark witches that stood smiling at their work done slumped to the ground....dead after writhing and crying in pain.

Endora walks into the compound. "How impressive! Hal!" A smile was plastered on her face. "You're THAT strong? Three dark witches all at once,oh my!" She palms her mouth as if astonished. "But...."

Her smile suddenly drops, her hands in the direction of Cheryl or not Cheryl exactly, her bump, her unborn baby. "You don't dare kill MY witches when you have a lot of weaknesses"

"Momma, what's going o...." Marilyn walks out and calls out but...

Endora tilts her head at her and streches her second hand lifting Marilyn up whilst choking her.

The cries from Cheryl who kept clutching her tommy and Marilyn who kept holding onto her neck trying to catch her breath suddenly ceases as...

#whoosh#

A strong wind suddenly blew Endora miles away and maybe not just Endora but whatever was in the way at that moment.

Halley who was planning to release her magick turned to her brother whose eyes shone a bright yellow with tiny bits of red.

"Mason!" Her heart beat in palpitation. He was going to kill her. She moves to stop him and then realizes he'd just put a protection spell over the three of them while walking in the direction of Endora who struggled to lift herself off the floor.

"Oh no!" She falls to her knees in between her daughter and sister. She places her hands over them, tears trimming down her eyes. "Damn you Endora, you're gonna pay for this!" And immediately after her statement, they vanished.

The area looking like a tornado had just visited.
