Prison World

"What did you do to her?" Cheryl who laid on the bed says to her husband who'd just walked into the room.

"What should have been done a long time ago as with all the others that chose this darkness over pure natural magick." He blares still clearly pissed.

Halley who stood at the side gulps knowing that message also included her. Her brother, Mason Vaz was nothing but a wonted man who'd always abide by all rules of nature.

"What'd you do Mason?" Cheryl asks not hiding the hope that he'd not kill her in her voice.

"She mess with the wrong family, she gets what she deserves. No one messes with MY family and lives to tell about it!" He was really riled up.

Cheryl's heart skip a beat. The Vaz bloodline wasn't termed strong for nothing they were also dangerous.

Halley just looked on. Endora had gone far this time, threatening the life of an unborn child and a five years old girl? That was definitely too far.

"D..did.." Cheryl gulps. "Did you kill her?" Her words sounded rushed.

Mason looks at her with hands akimbo and then he sighs. He moves close to her and sits beside her on the bed.

"I knew you wouldn't want that so no, I didn't kill her."

Cheryl squints her eyes at him knowing there was more, "but.....?"

Mason looks at her and his lips twitch. "I put her in her place..... I put her in a prison world" he says finally.

Cheryl leans back and even if she didn't want to show it, Halley thought it was a merciful punishment. The prison world, the worst punishment for any witch. One of the perks of being a Vaz witch, they were the only bloodline that could imprison witches by locking them in a world where the days repeat, no changes, no alterations and no matter how many times you try to kill yourself, you just never die.Mason offers a side-eye to Cheryl expecting a complaint.

"What did you see in your fathers' memory?" Heather was leaning forward to Jackson whose face had a surly expression.

"She's dead! I've said that for the nth time now." He was fed up with her questions.

Heather felt like a boulder had just been weighed on her chest, she clutched it eyes brimming with tears. No matter how she was tried to stop her tears, she couldn't. Lucinda was the nicest and probably the only vampire she'd ever met. She'd treated her like a daughter. She was ready to risk everything for her and her son of course.

Heather looks at Jackson whose eyes showed how bored he was. He locks eyes with her and the evil glint in it brought shivers down her spine.

"How did you do it?" Jackson raises his eyebrows. "How did you switch it off, how did you know there was a way to do that, you're just...."

"When all the memories came rushing down, the pain kept intensifying, I felt like I was going to burst from being overloaded with pain and then I wanted it to stop and when I opened my eyes....no more pain,no hurt, no more care for what happens in this wretched world and no emotions of course except the anger that courses through my veins every minute."

Heather gulps. He'd really put it off, his humanity, that part of a vampire that made them feel all sorts of emotions.

"How did you leave the demon world?" Jackson's question brought her out of her trance.

She shooks her head waving off whatever she was thinking of.

" The demon world was spelled so no witch could just leave. Your mother gave me a spell and told me to take care of you. That's all.'

Jackson guessed the spell had to be a dark spell. He nods his head.

"But.... If you could see your dad's memory and your mom is dead, where exactly is your dad?"

Jackson looks at her and shrugs. "How would I know!"
