Uninvited guests

"Go alert Emerson, will join you in a moment." Donald says after taking a while to digest this piece of information.

Xavier bows to both of them and leaves immediately. Sheila's face was stricken with worry.

"That! That's how I know father." Jaxon's voice breaks the silence. "You should know how smart i am dad and not just me but my whole class knows about it...."

Both were so shocked and speechless. Donald crouches to him once more, "listen here son, under no circumstances would you interfere, you shouldn't even as far as think of it! Its OK to be ambitious but its not OK if MY family is in danger, do you g...."

"But dad....." Jaxon tries to bargain.

"No Buts Jax! You stay out of this and that's an order!" Donald says that last part with more fierceness to emphasize on it.

Without any more words, he stands up and leave. Sheila hugs her son tight in her embrace not because his father had just raised his voice but because the thought of anything wrong happening brought a slice of pain to her chest.

"I suggest we question them first before going into action." A strong, thick voice holding so much power in it counters.

The room choked with a lot of strong deadly auras in it. On a round table with ten seats, eight Alphas occupied the seats, two vacant.

Due to the unending fights for territories, ten alphas signed an alliance giving each werewolf pack equal lands and an astute scrutiny to each pack. A scrutiny to make sure no pack of the ten was building mercenaries to intimidate the others and If this was done, war would be called upon and the treaty becomes null!

"No way! The rules stay the same, they both connived to destroy the treaty, they'll both face the consequences. Thats the one law!"

"All laws have an exception, don't they Howard?" all heads turn to the uninvited guests that'd just showed up.

Emerson who spoke had a smile etched on his face. Donald who walks alongside him had a stony face.

"So...what's it gonna be? Our explanations or we could just let the wolf out of its chains." Emerson smirked, his eyes having a dangerous glint to it.
