An agreement

Emerson's voice was threatening, his eyes glaring intently at Mason who just stood..... smiling provokingly.

"Emerson Keller, the pleasure is all mine, been so long since we stood opposite to each other." Mason's voice was annoyingly calm unlike that of a seething Alpha.

"One of us enjoyed the floor better." Emerson spat in spite. Both still stood at a distance.

"Ah.... trust me, I think between us men, you enjoyed the floors better especially with my fist imprinted on that Alpha-ish face of yours."

"Why not we find out now." And with that he growled loudly, stomping towards Mason who just continued to calmly watch him.

"Ha! And I thought by now you'd have grown into a man but nah.... still a baby." And he chuckled

Mason still didn't falter even when his neck was smothered between Emerson's firm hands.

"Did I tell you over the years, my magic also grew? The distance doesn't matter, its the target and a particular pregnant green-eyed lady is a.....u mm mm" Emerson gripped his neck tighter.

"For someone who is going to be a father, you like to threaten unborn babies." And with a shove Emerson lets go.

Using his magic, Mason steadies himself. "Trust me, I'd also love to be alive to enjoy such gift."

"Speak." Emerson's voice was stern and cold.

Mason smiled at this, waving his head to both side to release the tension in his neck, he adjusts his cloth, dusting his lapels. He sure took his own sweet time.

"Speak now... or you keep your prattle to yourself..."

"Threats.... threats.... threats. And they are all just empty." This has Emerson release a threatening growl.

This witch was really getting on his nerves!

"I know the only reason why you're not slitting my throat is because of Cheryl? And that's why I'm here." There was no longer even a slight trace of a smile on his face anymore.

Emerson's heart skipped a beat thinking Cheryl might be in danger but what came next had his brows deepen. "I came to see who I'll be sacrificing my heart for and come to an agreement."
